I was hoping you would do an episode on this movie. Now I'm curious what you're saying about it. My wife and I had so much fun with it, we watched it twice.

Regarding Kingsman 2, it opens nationwide in the US September 29th - if only there were a great genre festival running that week where it could premiere....

Brian, you MUST be talking about a Shaw Brothers spinoff regarding FF8. That's what I immediately wanted. And I want a movie that partners Dominic SAWretto with Gasmask Samurai from Kong.

Crown Jules

I saw F8 and I liked it more than 7. And personally, I feel like Walker's untimely death has galvanized the cast and brought them closer together in some ways. I say that mostly b/c the chemistry didn't feel forced and stilted to me this time around. I realize it's shocking, a franchise predicated on "family" can actually convey believable camaraderie. Also, I know its anathema to say, but I foresee that Scott Eastwood will eventually become a fine choice to unofficially succeed PW.

I can sort of forgive Brian missing the credit scene for Kong, it's at the very end of a long crawl. Fine. Still wondering how he missed the one from Split. It wasn't like it was buried in there. Title card, then boom, there is the scene (which was the only reason I went to see the movie in the first place). Also forgot about King Ghidorah :)
