It's a fairly simple process, though I would like to add that you can also cut layers shorter to make them fit the time period you want, or loop them to make them longer. You can also insert layers into the middle of a file to make them into a deepener. This of course, works smoother if you have access to the non binaural beat version of the file, as you can insert the deepener in, and then throw binaurals beats on top.
