Woman of my dreams (Patreon)

Hi everyone! Thank you for being patient! I'm going to be getting a bit personal, as this is a rather personal project for me. The following pieces are of my girlfriend. She did a boudoir photoshoot and sent me the pictures, and I decided to recreate them as paintings. It's clear that realism isn't really my thing, and I opt for a more comic/cartoony style. However, much like she does in my everyday life, I wanted to push myself to be better and more well-rounded with my work. I had been in several toxic relationships before meeting her, as I had extremely low self-esteem and sense of self-worth. I didn't believe I could do better, nor did I deserve better. When I finally gathered the strength to walk away from those situations, I decided I was done forever. That's when she came along and changed everything. Years of psychological abuse, gaslighting, passive aggressiveness, threats and even finding out one of my partners had been unfaithful after contracting an STD from her, had resulted in me putting up wall after wall and being guarded. She has been the only one who broke through my walls since and has shown me nothing but love, compassion, and understanding. She makes me better and pushes me to keep growing as a person everyday. She supports me 100% in my goals and has even said she finds it flattering that I want to draw her. I try to capture her beauty in my work, but in my opinion it still falls short. She's the most beautiful woman I've ever met. And so I'm going to be drawing and painting all of her photos from her photoshoot as one of my gifts to her for her birthmonth (yes we make it a month-long affair lol.)
