Addressing some important things (Patreon)
Content
Hey everyone.
I hope you are all doing well, and are safe. I wanted to address some things that I felt were important. I would like to keep this as a safe haven or a place to relax and get away from it all. I would like to continue to post as much as possible and bring content to you all, but I feel it's important to make my feelings and where I stand on the subject crystal clear. I've addressed this on my twitter also and will keep it there for the most part, I don't plan on being silent or ignoring anything about it, I also don't want to be disrespectful in any way so if any one of you feels I should take a day or two off in solidarity or anything else I could do on here for you guys please let me know.
For those of you who may not know or may not check Twitter often, I'm Mexican, a Latina woman and I fully support the BLM movement. My heart truly hurts and I know some of you are hurting as well. I want to do anything I can to help in any way possible, I know things online can be very overwhelming and painful to some including myself at times so I hope to keep my patreon positive and a place to breathe. All the protesting and everything spawning from does come from a positive place but sadly there are many videos and pictures showing brutal and horrible gruesome things happening, it's hard to see. I don't want to downplay anything or act like nothing is going on, so I am making this post. I am here for you. Please stay safe. Please be careful. Take care of your loved ones and remember that your health matters most. Nothing can replace people, or you for that matter. So please, take care of yourselves, and only do what you want/can do. I love you all, and I don't want any of you to be hurt. And please, remember to take a break, it's okay to have bad days, or days where you need a social media blackout, it's okay to be aware of your mental health and need days off. It's okay to take time for yourself and do whatever it is you need to do. To cry, to mourn, to hurt, to breathe, its okay, and I encourage you all to take care of yourselves. It's okay if you feel lost, and don't know what to do, I feel the same. We're in this together. If you'd like to do something but cant/dont want to go to protests, here are some online resources for those who want to look into that.
This link has petitions for victims such as George Floyd as well as other victims and also has resources and organizations to donate if anyone is interested. https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co And from the bottom of my heart: Thank you everyone who has stayed with me, and for those of you who have and still are supporting me. It truly means the world to me.*hugs* ❤
