At first I was just learning to use everything... I come from a film background so I knew how camera's should be set up and scenes and stuff but when it came to Render Settings and AI, I was still a baby... Same with coding but that's another story...Anyway, now I've got my render settings locked in, and I've got a much better AI workflow that uses EVEN LESS AI filtering than before, and the renders are just coming out looking SO much better in my opinion. Plus I spent WEEKS setting up the environment to have every tree, blade of grass, rock, book, lotion bottle, whatever, meticulously placed... And during the bus introduction and meeting of the brooks, I was faking a lot of those scenes using AI to fill in places that were missing grass or something... But making those shots consistent was a problem so I instead opted for just REALLY going ham on decorating the level so I'd never have to use AI again. And now, again, it's just SO much better. I can't image how much easier this will all be, and how much better looking it will be by my next game...Kinda sucks that the images look better now because, it makes me want to go back and redo the first 100 or so images. :( And one day I might do that. If I decide to release on Steam...
