Going Dark... (Patreon)

I'm going to be gone for a few days... I might post here but I'm trying not to. I'm not going anywhere really, I'm still working on the game, but I have an incredibly complex rig to set up and I need to focus on it and create a guide as I do, so I can follow it for future characters...I could easily have gone the same route as most other devs and just retarget some animations to my character and call it a day... But the animations wouldn't look personalized to each character. They wouldn't look great. They wouldn't fit the feel of my game. And most importantly, it would look cheap... I'm not doing that. I'm going to do it right and set up a super complex rig for the characters. And it's going to take some time.In the end, I'll be able to quickly and painlessly create and edit animations. But more importantly, I'll be able to add AWESOME systems like head-look so Annika looks at who she's talking to... Automatic eye blink and facial expressions for idle breaks... And most bestest of all, a system that makes the head of a penis follow the entrance to a vagina like a magnet. So no matter what angle an animation is playing at, the genitals are always working and moving in and out of eachother, or a mouth, like they would in real life. TL;DR: In order to create this incredibly robust rigging system, I'll be focusing on work for the next few days... I'll be back with something cool to show you.
