I wanted to show you more reasons that this takes so long... Here you can see a single grass clump object. I have to duplicate that, place it next to the original, duplicate the duplicate, move it a bit, and so on... 10's of thousands of times across the whole ranch... But the end result is a landscape that actually looks like a landscape, and it looks the same between every shot. I could easily do it with AI but then it would look different every shot. Look at any other game with grass on the ground in it, and you'll see what I mean... lol. I do this same process with all the tree's, bushes, flowers, rocks, etc.The reason I'm redoing it now, is because I learned I could make instances of the objects instead of duplicating them, which saves me a FUCK TON of VRAM useage, making my renders go faster. So it's a couple days of hard work, so save TONS of time over the course of the next couple of years. :)Everything I do is overkill... But the product you will get in the end will be one of the most beautiful things you'll play, I hope.
