You guys should know by now I like the small details. Most devs set up a background and take their shots in front of it. I on the other hand, built the whole ranch. If you were to take my whole Brooks Ranch scene into Unreal, you could walk down from the cabins, explore every furnished room in the Brooks home, and go to the barn... It's all their in physical space. No tricks. Now, I needed a couple bathroom shots for the Cocktail Waitress mini game but I hadn't built the bathroom yet. I could have easily just used a public bathroom prop and been done with it, but I need it to work. To make sense. To be real... So I cut holes in the walls of the Bar, added doors, made little signs for the Mens Room and Womens room, and added public bathrooms to the side of the bar. Same with Rene's office. It's a lot of extra work up front, but it saves me loads of time in the future because I don't have to worry about what my camera see's. I can take a shot from anywhere and it'll look good because the scene is complete... In a couple months (After Carters Playthrough) I have to build the whole town... Well, the main street anyway. All the little shops. Furnish them with props. Make sure it all looks cohesive... So much work.Anyway, I'm TRYING to get this done by the first but, I have a lot to do. So we'll see. Might be the next week, like I was saying.
