Why my game is different (Patreon)

More specifically, why my game is harder to make. When you have a game like mine, where it's almost a point and click adventure game inside of Ren'Py, and a hundred different systems are constantly interacting with a hundred other systems. Each needing to call on the other at any time. This adds layers of complexities I can't even begin to explain. Honestly, in the grand scheme of things, I don't even understand it all myself. I just go slowly and do it piece by piece, fixing it as it breaks. This is why it's IMPERATIVE that you write a Code Bible when making a game like this. Which I have, but even still, I'm always blowing up code and having to clean it up.But it takes a HELLUVA lot longer to code a game like mine than it does 99% of other visual novels out there. Some of the big dogs out there do this level of coding, but there aren't many. And this isn't to toot my own horn and pat myself on the back. I'm just saying, when people say "Where's the content" they don't understand what really went in to the content they can see.Anyway, I just wanted to rant a little because I'm working on a very complex system, specifically the journal, and how it needs to always know the time of day, day of the week, whether it's the weekend, and what you have left to do or have done. And all that needs to be hooking into literally every label or "event" or "thing that can happen" in the game...TL;DR, I wish I was done on the first, but I'm deep in some complex code right now and I need to make sure it's all good before I release. So just be patient. The release will be soon. Let's make sure it's done right.
