So I'm at a crossroads... I've done about 100 images for Carters playthrough and not only am I not enjoying making those images for the second time, but it's taking forever. The real issue is, I'm going to have to rework ALL the code in the game so that it flags who you're playing, and uses the correct HUD and other elements depending on your player...I did a poll to see who wanted Annika vs Carter and it was 75% overwhelmingly in Annika's favor.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Should I just drop Carters playthrough completely, and make it an Annika only game? This would mean monthly updates for Annika. Except this month since I just wasted a week on Carters content. But I wouldn't have to build any NEW Carter only systems like Massage Work or Photography.I'd be letting 7% of my player base down but in the end, it's FAR easier, and FAR quicker...What do you guys think?

If your heart isn't into Carter than just stick with Annika. You may disappoint some members but you cant please everyone.

How about finish Annika first then do carter or check after a while if we still feel that way

I would be very happy if it became Annika’s game. I probably would never have played with Carter anyway, so for me and a few others that would be the best option. But please do it the way that works best for you.

If a creator enjoys what they're making, it shows. If a creator finds their own work to be tedious and unenjoyable, it will be evident in the results. While you may be thinking about potential lost income from dropping Carter's playthrough, you'd likely lose far more by forcing yourself to do something you didn't enjoy and winding up with an inferior story (or even eventually abandoning it, like so many other AVN creators). And if dropping Carter's playthrough allows you finish this story sooner, you could move on to another story or a sequel sooner, and potentially end up making more income in the long run, especially since you'd have a fan base and had proven you're committed to finishing what you started. Like many, I'll pay for the final result when it's completed. Unlike many, I'll follow along until it's done. For those that don't, they'd never even know that Harvesting Corruption was once dual-protagonist. If you like certain aspects of Carter's story that can't be told from Annika's perspective, get creative with it. There are plenty of visual novels or other story types that cut away from the main character's perspective on occasion to show something important to the story. Or have Carter's plot points introduced through conversations with Annika, overheard conversations with others, or told to Annika through others who witnessed or participated in whatever Carter got up to. And don't hesitate to leave some mystery as well. Learn from others, make it yours, and make it fun. If you have fun with making this, you have a greater chance of success. If you don't, the corruption may be left unharvested.

Gonna do you a solid and just give it to you straight, compadre. I have zero interest in doing a playthrough with Carter. I'm here for Annika.

Up to you I think, personally, I was never really interested in Carter playthrough

Drahira

Scrap multi-perspective, focus on a single character, Annika. I'd be more likely to cancel if I was forced to play Carter. No interest in that kind of game at all.

Silentbob

I'm here for Annika, you could probably just incorporate Carter's story via events on Annika s path anyways.

Redbear

I agree Annika is enough.

rollmop10

I'm here for Annika.

Although I’d rather the Carter playthrough it’s your game and you should enjoy what you’re doing.

I prefer the content for Annika and prefer focus on her. The reason you asked I have the feeling you think the same
