A lot of you already know how game dev works. But quite a few of you don't. So let me take the time to show you why it takes so long... I think this will be educational for a number of people here. Keep in mind, this is just for a Waitress Mini Game Image... She's only wearing ONE outfit here. The game has 20 other outfits...First and foremost, I had to HAND DRAW her shirt open in photoshop. That means me, with a photoshop brush, using my mouse to create a fake open shirt, that matches her original shirt. But here we have ONE image, with ONE of the Patrons... This is from an event that can happen, and it has 4 images in the sequence... There are 7 Bar Patrons. This is only one. So the first multiplier, 4 for the amount of images in the sequence. The second multiplier is 7 for the amount of Patrons... Then we have 5 variations of the top half of her outfit. If I was doing the whole outfit visible, we'd have 10 variations... So the second multiplier, is 7... Now imaging this is any other repeatable scene... I'd have 20 other outfits to render out too, and that multiplier would be 20... To long didn't read... One handjob, requires 140 images. And that's just for one MINOR event in the Waitress Game...
