Harvesting Corruption Public Build v0.0.45 is out now and ready to download.F95Zone still refuses to add my game to the Latest Updates page. Do me a favor and report the game and ask them why they're not updating it. Even if they hate me for calling out their moderators for bad behavior, there's no reason to be so petty they keep a good game from people who want to play it. Now Go! Fly my minions!

This update packs in new content, polish, Revamped Animations and a bunch of improvements as the world of Harvesting Corruption keeps getting bigger.

I'm really looking forward to it, but this update doesn't yet contain the mentioned gifs and I'm probably playing it wrong because I didn't find any changes this time compared to the original version :( and not even a tool to finally get through that thicket in the rocks ....and what about these websites? - https://socigames.com/

You cannot get through the thicket yet. That's VERY far away content. This update does not have the updated UI. That's coming in v5. There is a lot of new content in this version, but if you played the Patreon Build that came out last week, you won't see a difference. Public build is just Patreon a week later.

So are versions 0.0.42 and 0.0.45 identical in content? At least it seems that way for now and thanks for the info about the unexplored part... by the way, those boobleheads figures are very cute, is it just a nice distraction or does it unlock something? :D

Yes, they are MOSTLY identical versions. The main number, like v0.0.4 or v0.0.3, those are the Patreon Releases. Then you have like v0.0.41 that's a bug fix... 42, 43, 44, same thing. Bug fixes. Then 5, like v0.0.35 or 45, those are the Public Builds. The only difference will be the Public version has the bug fixes built in. And the Patreon versions are the buggiest because the Patreons get it a week early to test it, and report bugs. The Boobleheads are for now, just a cool collectible that shows up in your cabin on the shelf. I may do something with them later but for now, just a collectors items. The Magazines however, DO give you perks. Plus you can open them up and read them.

yes, I found that out, I think that was the change compared to 0.0.35, that magazines can now be browsed and the first chapter in the first book in the living room was added ;) Well, we're just devouring stories, so I'll wait patiently for version 0.0.50 ;) and I hope your work goes smoothly so we can enjoy the continuation of the story.

Yes, there is a LOT more coming to the Waitress Mini Game. You can also go be a waitress at the Velvet Rope STrip Club eventually.

I did look in the backyard of the house. No sign of Carter. This is the only quest left for this update.

By some glitch I can play on after last current scene. In bar skills some have multiple levels but don't upgrade further when get higher spend points.

She DOES get to be a Masseuse, with a full Massage Mini Game. She also gets to work at the Strip Club.

I only did the first row of Skill Points. Since you can only get to day 5 in game, you shouldn't be able to get past the first bar yet. To give you all the skill points working, I'd need a few months just to work on the skill tree. So you get one row at a time. As needed. First Row doesn't have any skills that you can get more than one point in. But it SHOULD be locked so that you can't get to the second row until you've got a point in every one of the first row. The glitch for playing BEYOND the first day isn't a glitch. I allow you to if you really just want to continue doing the waitress game for some reason. But there SHOULD be a disclaimer saying "You've reached the End of Content, SAVE HERE."

You go back to finish cleaning the house for the day. Once you're done it will be the afternoon. At that point you'll have a new "Booblehead" shelf in your cabin. Any Boobleheads you find you can now collect and will show up there. Also in the afternoon, you can explore the newly opened Eastern Trail. Lots of new locations. When you're done with that. Pass time till Evening and go to work as usual.

Cant find Carter (not in the backyard). I admit this Is my most beloved game With Amnesia (i love Elena) and Slutvillage. There was Lily masterplan from Joker 3d but he stopped the game 😭

You’re not the only one who went to the backyard and Carters scene didn’t start. Someone else has that problem too. I’ll have to look at what could be bugging out certain playthrough’s.

This is a fantastic direction for the game, and I'm especially excited about the plans for the future bar and club content. That's exactly the kind of progression many players are looking for. I remember seeing one of your comments on another game's page, where you mentioned creating this project because other games were updating too slowly and often failed to deliver meaningful content. Honestly, I have to say you've already done a much better job than many of them. What draws people to this genre is the opportunity to follow an open-minded female protagonist and experience a variety of exciting and memorable storylines through her perspective. That's what makes these games so appealing in the first place. Even though the game is still relatively early and doesn't yet have a huge amount of completed content, I'm genuinely excited about its future and have high hopes for where it's heading. I really hope development can continue progressing toward the implementation of the bar, club, and other planned content. Once those features start becoming a reality, I'll be more than happy to support the project financially. Wishing you the best with development, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the game grows in the future.

Thank you for the compliment. Yes, I'm still early in development. Only 6 months on this version of the game so far. But as my Patreons who have been around a while will tell you, I have worked on this game every day since day 1, for 14-18 hours a day 7 days a week. So when you say "I hope the game will progress"... Nothing will stop me. This game is my entire life right now. So enjoy the ride. Updates are constant, and quick. Even my LARGEST content updates, where I made the entire Waitress Mini Game plus all the code and scenes, only took two months. You'll never wait longer than that for a substantial update. As for other devs and taking forever. It's my goal to be the ONE Adult Game Developer my Patreons feel absolutely safe supporting. They always know something is coming. That I will communicate. And that whatever comes next, will be awesome, and of the HIGHEST quality. :) So enjoy your stay.

I honestly didn't expect such a quick reply. Looks like you're a bit of a night owl too. Your passion and determination for this project are genuinely inspiring. I understand how many challenges and how much work a solo developer has to deal with when creating a game like this, and I have a lot of respect for the effort you're putting into it. Please take good care of your health and don't push yourself too hard. Keeping yourself healthy is the best way to ensure the project can continue moving forward steadily in the long run. Nope. You'll have a chance to work with the sister even if you work at the bar. You'll get to call who you want to go work with to pick you up in the evenings. Even when you get offered the job at the Velvet Rope, you can still go work at the Thirst Trap if you want to. You just won't make as much money.

Has anyone else experienced the same issue as me? The game consistently freezes after about 30 minutes to an hour of playtime, and I end up having to force close it and restart. I'm also using the built-in translation tool, so I'm wondering if that could be affecting the game's stability or performance in any way. Has anyone encountered this problem before, or found a solution?

It's probably your translation tool or PC. You're the only person who's ever had that issue, plus I'm very careful with my code. Nothing could cause freezing. :/

Looks like the translation software was the culprit after all. That's really frustrating. The program automatically swaps out the game's internal language files with translated versions, so I guess it may be affecting stability and causing the game to freeze. Now it seems I'll have to manually replace all the language files myself instead.
