🔥 v0.0.6 Is Coming — And This One Is PACKED (Patreon)
Content
Can I put out another release in just two weeks? You're about to find out. This update is heavily focused on Friday content, expanding both the story and the amount of actual game inside Harvesting Corruption.
There are several brand-new story scenes coming, including new character interactions, another late-night event, some suspicious shit happening around Tenmile, and a few moments that start quietly planting seeds for much bigger things coming later.
The Thirst Trap is getting a LOT of attention too.
More encounters. More choices. More stat checks. More ways for Annika to get herself into trouble. New waitress interactions, new sexual escalation possibilities, improvements to René's system, flashing mechanics, better shift feedback, and several quality-of-life improvements to the waitress HUD.
I'm also expanding the actual world again.
New Tenmile locations are being hooked into navigation, Richard's Bait Shop is becoming a functional store, and several locations that have basically been scenery until now are becoming real places you can explore.
The player systems are getting some love too:
Change Annika's clothes directly from the backpack.
New Formal clothing category.
Improved cabin wardrobe UI.
Optional changing animations.
A HUD button for advancing the time of day.
A completely improved Journal notification system.
Better menu gating, tooltips, and visual feedback throughout the game.
A pile of bug fixes and continuity cleanup.
I'm also doing a full pass on the Tenmile / Cottage Grove geography, because the world has grown enough that the original naming no longer makes sense everywhere.
And somewhere in this insanity, I'm trying to squeeze in another new gameplay system/minigame too.
So yeah.
Story content.
Adult content.
New locations.
New store.
New interactions.
New UI systems.
Waitress expansion.
Wardrobe expansion.
Journal overhaul.
World cleanup.
Bug fixes.
Quality-of-life improvements.
All being built into one release cycle of roughly two weeks.
That's genuinely fucking nuts for a solo Ren'Py project.
And the wild part is that v0.0.6 still isn't some giant milestone update.
It's just Friday.
