Welcome all!

The Member tier testing build is ready for you.

Check this post out for the changelog.

If you already have the Launcher you dont need to download again, just select the tier and download from there :)

If the first startup of the launcher triggers a 'Windows protected your PC' message, click 'More info' and 'Run anyway.

The Wild Life launcher will take care of downloading from a custom server for you. This still doesn't include patching as we aren't quite there with that system yet, but it will download from a custom server so you don't have to deal with different confusing file hosts anymore. Our goal is to run the entire build distribution via the launcher.

Additionally we are providing a download link on mega in case something is wrong with the launcher:MEGA (classic direct link to the game)

when i try to log into the launcher it asks me to sign in with google it says "this email address already has a Patreon account." every time so i cant get builds through your launcher

can you explain why that is, its very frustrating because i hate mega downloads which makes you have to pay to download a certain amount of data. I paid you, why should i have to pay more to get a solid reliable and fast downloads of your builds, which you are making us use.

Have you tried this MEGA link? Apparently there is no 5GB limit on our links now. In any case: Are you sure you are on the login screen when trying to log into Patreon? Maybe the launcher redirected you to the account creation link and you need to press some kind of "log into existing account" button

Bug Report: Upon starting new game, the game will load but seems like it crashes right on start, it's just a black screen. However, hitting Escape still works, but the escape menu is super out of resolution and pull up so big that only the Continue, Restart, and Save options fit on the screen. Mouse alignment is also super off during this. However, I found that hitting Restart will make the game load properly with no other issues as of yet.

i told the launcher to use the new build, didn't download it and ran the old one instead.

i have problem can't run it because it say me that i need api-ms-win-eventing-classicprovider-l1-1-0.dll and also XInput1_4.dll and when i download them i have an other error message that say me that application can't run it is the first time

Can't use mousewheel to zoom without holding "left alt" tried to rebind to just mousewheel but it automatically adds the requirement of Alt...

Maybe try relogging. Or just use the mega link instead.

We never explicitely made it support windows 7. We updated to a newer game engine version, maybe that now lost backwards compatibility with Win7. Try upgrading to the latest windows version.

it works while viewing scenes without having to hold alt, but duing normal gameplay it wont zoom wihout Alt

I have the same issue, also running a 1080, but I run an i7 6700k. As soon as I hit new game, screen goes black, 10 seconds later shows the loading screen with the spinning skulls, loads into the game for a split second, then goes black. I can hit escape, and see the pause menu, but it's weirdly zoomed in and I can't click anything because all the menu options are off screen

Crashes when I click restart from the esc menu. Also was Yason changed? His model still looks the same as it did

Its a known issue we mentioned in plenty of places. We hope to fix this for the 10$ release. Yes Yason was changed but his original version is in the game still as legacy version. The new one can be accessed by looking for Jason (with a J)

I was able to bind the zoom key in the previous version to just the mouse wheel... in this version I cannot. The speed at which the camera zooms is also significantly slower in this version but that may be a setting I havent yet messed with.

I am also having the same issue. After I hit new game, black screen for about a minute, then it the loading screen pops up for a bit and as soon as maya loads in the screen goes black. When I hit escape the menu pops up but I can't even get to the buttons to click them. Running a gtx 1080, ryzen 7 2700X, 32gb ram, ASUS prime X470-pro motherboard

Crashes when I try to enter the weapon area the other room that was recently added. I get a fatal error.

Crashes on initial load in. Shows starting area briefly then crashes to black screen with a zoomed in Health HUD in the corner

Nevermind, found the problem. Had loading issues from having the oculus plugged in. Once disconnectred it loaded fine.

the audio of the shot is too high.to enhance the low frequency,it feels too harsh. the sound of gunfire sounds very real,but i think it is necessary to strike a balance. i believe that many people use headphones to play. which may not be good for the ears.

Yes its a known issue that we will hopefully have adressed by the time the 10$ is out. You can probably reduce the probability of crashing if you first go to oasis, wait a few secs and then go to weapon area or showroom.

Hello! I've tried running the game several times (as well as reinstalling and re-downloading the launcher) but I keep getting the following error. "The program can't start because XINPUT1_4.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Any ideas? I even tried reinstalling directX.

Hey WildLife Team, been a fan of your work for a while now. I appreciate all your efforts in creating this game. So far with this test build, things seem to be running pretty okay for me! (Though I am sure other customer experiences may vary). Just wanted to say your gun play and gib system is looking pretty solid for its infant state and I cannot wait to see this integrated. The refurbishment to 'Oasis' is truly much more refreshing, as the changes bring a more dynamic and 'lively' look to the place. I enjoy exploring the little details of your test builds and I am excited for more. One thing I should mention is that, when you enter the hunting grounds as maya. If you round the corner near the plateau at the end of the hunting grounds, some of the cliffs appear invisible with odd shadowing. Further inspection says the textures are there, as is the cliff but they vanish at specific angles.

I have a vr headset- this game automatically prioritizes VR when the headset is connected... from what i could tell there is no "hotkey" to turn it off and play in normal windowed mode. In addition to this, when stuck in the VR mode, you arent able to see any of the UI insofar as the commands are concerned (dont know how to star scenes or interact with NPCs). When trying to exit the game, the menu is way too close and all you can see is "continue" or "restart" however you are unable to click either of these options as the mouse is either not working or does not show up on the screen/ headset interface.

The VR implementation we had so far has broken apparently, we need to look into it first.

many people like me still using Win7. I workaround the missing xinput with copying and renaming an existing xinput1_3.dll on my machine into xinput1_4.dll. But then I get an 0xc000007b error. Tomorrow I will try to install a fresh version of directx maybe it's about that. Please Steve, try to find a solution for all your Win7 users. Thank you.

that's not a good reason to change Win7 to bigbrother-Windows 10. Actually you can still have any necessary security update for Win7 with "Wind UPDATES BypassESU-v4"

Hard to say. Tried starting it as admin? Maybe some connection is blocked. You could also go with our mega link, it shouldnt have a 5GB limit so you can download the thing in one go.

hi Steve! i have a problem...when the body of a human character swings,the screen have tearing. and the animal character is relatively slight. this was not the case in the 2019.12.18 version.

Installing the game is as easy as downloading a file, unpacking and running it. But sure I can do a video about that ;)
