Hi everyone,

It is time for an update again. Development has been going quite well and we have chosen the 20th of August as the goal for the next build release.

One of the biggest good news is that we have already started voice recording all the characters for the demo and it is making good progress. Chances are that the next build will already have a fully voiced demo!

Speaking of sound, the majority of the demo sounds have been reworked and improved, you will have a much much nicer experience thanks to that.

On the animation side of things we are going with adding new sandbox content. The demo scenes also have had several upgrades that you will see for yourselves soon. ;)

The natives will be getting their own weapon style, here is a showcase of the ingame model.

Shorty now has a proper hair model.

On a bit of a negative note, we want to let you know that we are having some issues with our newly added hair material that affect our current engine version 4.25. Since we chose not to upgrade the engine version while the demo was in its final steps we are working with a placeholder material. After the demo we will upgrade to the latest UE4 version which has the issues fixed.

Thanks for sticking with us and all the support you give us, without you we would not be here.

Glad to hear progress is going well! Hype for the voices!

Mostacho

Will there be multi language support, or English-only and appropriate subtitles for relevant conversations? I'm curios about what's the plan?

Adeptus Steve

There is plan for subtitles but those are generally made as one of the very last steps of production.

Mostacho

I understand that. Thank you for the information.

Will this upgrade push our computers harder? It sounds like a jet engine now I am worried about over heating. Oh and is there a way to move lights around in the show room? I am trying to get a better lighting from underneath but there is no lights positioned that way.

Adeptus Steve

Its definitely not going to ge a lot easier on hardware as we havent really made any defining breakthroughs on the performance end yet. Moving lights around in the showroom isnt possible yet but its part of my sandbox goals. You can increase the global surround light levels which also lights up characters from underneath, for that either step on the white cylinder thingy next to the teleportstone or play around with the arrow keys.

Crap... I REALLY hope my 2080ti can handle it. There is massive card shortage still over here in the states so I am stuck with it. Hopefully you can fix performance a bit in the future because at the moment the showroom is the only thing that does not lag like crazy. The issue is the engine is loading every asset before starting so it stutters unless I turn settings to med or low. Which is odd since my PC can run Red Dead 2 and GTA 5 at ultra with no issues. If it gets to hard to run a lot of people will get upset (especially seeing how long many of us were supporting) being that we cannot play the game at all. I am not bashing you guys and I understand the "get a new PC then" argument but still. Scalpers are beating us to death over here and PCs and parts skyrocketed in price so upgrading is well out of reach for just about everyone right now.

New Frontiers

Love you! Can I get my name in the credits? New Frontiers Digital Media

Adeptus Steve

Well i have a 2080 and it runs just fine on it :)

Ryproar

Not sure why mine is stuttering and lagging so much then. My telemetry spikes hard when loading assets and it takes a long time to load everything up. The showroom takes no time at all. The gun range no issues either. The quest mode though.... Lord the lag is real there. The game is literally loading everything at the same time and it slows down considerably. That is the puzzling part. I had 20 actors in the showroom no problem but the fire effects cause animation spikes. The water no issues but fire whew... 10fps at times. 60fps normally.

RemnantRyku

Sounds fantastic, looking forward to the update.

The last screenshot made me chuckle. Pooor, poor, poor little Maya, what is she getting herself into this time. That's going to make one hell of a scene. Shey can be so mean sometimes. Big raider girl picking on a little kerpali girl like that, what is this world coming to? I was hoping for more cucumber action. In general, toys will be great things to have in the game. A nicely carved bone dildo would look interesting. Double dong action would do nicely as well. Have fun making stuff and have a good day.

alan

I prefer the Maya's story line, current one is too similar to some haremumono gal games on steam, start to lose interest.

DVD

WHAT

Adeptus Steve

Dont worry, there will be Maya story line for hours in the final game :)

alan

So. what's the main story about, could you post the story outline or intro?

Carlos

Can I play this on MacBook Pro?

FMHV

About the light if Adeptus didn t know already you can just put a torch on the floor futhermore i get 60fps on laptop 2070rtx 16goram i9

New Frontiers

Yaaaaaaaaay!!!! Adjustable lights!!!

Kaguya_Chan

how do u unlock maya story?

Adeptus Steve

Its not there yet so you cant unlock it, in the final game you reach a certain part in the story to unlock her.

G

Are there any plans to implement VR into the "New Game" story mode anytime soon? I understand that there was an input split, so ALT+0 does not work there.

Adeptus Steve

Vr is more of a sandbox gimmick so there isnt really plans to flesh it out for the story mode.

WoodPulpPancake

if you are on 4.25 could you enable some raytracing settings?

Mantlefluid

Are you in need of any voice actors? :D

johnnyboy

You guys have FINALLY mastered an African male hair texture this is what Ive been asking for. I'm glad that the team has implemented this now maybe we can get a few more African texture hair styles for the men!!! Great job guys

johnnyboy

STEVE did you guys add any new voices for sandbox mode? like when they're asking for sex ect??

WarMallet

Hey Steve. I have no idea of course of what plans you got for Salivarius but just gotta say those are impressive animations you got going there. There are nothing else like it in the game, very unique. My question is, are you going to implement any more animations like of that type in the future and if so maybe on a new character other than Salivarius? It would be so interesting to see what you guys would conjure up.

Adeptus Steve

Salivarus has been put on hold for the duration of the game production. We may revisit him later and put more content of him in an add-on.

Any chance we will get an equine character soon?

WarMallet

Hey Steve, just been listening to some jams and pictured how cool it would be if the girls had a move where they kind of whip their hair around and or run their fingers through it. Also, will the hair ever have a wet effect coming out of water and then drying after a bit of time? Wet hair would would be a nice effect.

WarMallet

They could whip their hair around 80's hairband style any old time they want to. Some kind of move or moves that really shows off the hair styles and what they can do. That would be sexy. Especially after you have created several more hair styles later on down the road. Just something to ponder upon every now and then.

Adeptus Steve

Wet hair would indeed be nice, We will work a lot on hair shader stuff once the demo is done and we can upgrade the engine version :)

WarMallet

It will be great.

vesperdeath
