Cunt isn't the worst thing you can call someone in the UK, I'd say 'nonce' is the worst swear word. Cunt doesn't really have any power in UK, but if someone says nonce, people visible recoil. 🤣 Also about the serving pussy thing, I've never heard it used in English but it's pretty popular in Spain. If you say 'ella está serviendo coño', it's like a positive feminst power thing. Like she's using her feminine energy to control the situation. 🐱

American (NYC area) depends on the region. If you say “you fcking cunt” that’s like calling someone a bitch and not the friendly heeeey bish. And it’s a very particular group of people that use it.

In Barbados the word is used all the time. Some examples: "Dat is bare cunt" (That is a lot of foolishness), "He/she/you is a cunt" (to cuss someone), "He/she look like bare cunt" (the person is dressed poorly)

Can't has been one of my favorites swear words since I was a kid, people's reaction when you use it means shit is getting real. I don't use it regularly only because people frown upon its use most of the time and think you're a prick when you use it in my personal experience

C you next Tuesday (cunt) is the worst word ever! It is the most offensive word someone can use in my opinion. I am an American fwiw. My ears bleed when I hear this word and I have a puddle based on the number of times you all used it ughhh lol. I exaggerated because of how much I hate this word.

I can see why people are offended by the use of cunt, but as a Guyanese, our version (skunt) is so ingrained in the culture/language/dialect that I don't personally find it offensive, unless it is used to specifically be offensive (based on context).

Australian here, you would be blown away how many times a day you will hear that word. we say it in all types of context. "you are a mad cunt" = you are awesome or cool. "oi cunt" a way to get someones attention. "cunty" = if ya hurt yaself. we call our best friends cunts and our enemies mate.

I had the same therapy experience as James. I went into completely open and ready af to do the work. It just didn't work out right for me. It's just not for me right now. I'm just not ready for talking about things and the benefits of therapy isn't worth hassle of appointments and zoom appointments. At least for me personally.

I’ve tried like 5 different therapists. And all wanted to go to phone or zoom therapies. And I absolutely did not wanna do that for a multitude of reasons, I’m deaf so can’t hear fully especially over video/audio calls. I also live in a household where therapy is frowned upon and my family is home like 99.9% of the time, I ain’t doing it at my work place. But they all stipulated that they would do between 5-10 face to face and then go to batches of 10 zoom/phone sessions and then a face to face. Which makes sense for them, but I absolutely need face to face. And I haven’t found one yet. So I just learnt to journal and burn my issues and learnt to try fixing them myself, and I’m getting there! But Zoom therapy isn’t ever happening for me🤷🏻‍♀️

My mother kicked my brother out for calling her a cunt- we went on holiday and he(like 29/30 at the time) got drunk and just straight up said ‘mum sometimes your just a fucking cunt who is pathetic’ and this was just after lockdown and stuff, we had to distance from everyone bc my mum has a multitude of illnesses. And that’s why she was a ‘cunt’ so she let him back in the caravan that night, found his keys took our house key and the caravan key off his key chain, packed his bags and when she woke up was like ‘get out’ didn’t have no time to charge his phone, or nothing he didn’t have a car or money for the train back home(160+ miles away) so we left the day after, when we got home she grabbed all his shit and threw it out. And was like ‘if he thinks I’m a cunt, I’ll be a cunt’ I’m now 25, and was like 22 at the time, I swear often, but I will never ever call my mum anything like that, even as a joke because her generation finds it so offensive. Ain’t ever happening, my mum is lovelyyyy, most of the time but she ain’t a cunt by no means

With the word “cunt” I feel like it depends and can be disrespectful depending on how you use it because a cunt is a pussy, so in America when someone calls you a “pussy” that means your scared and or afraid. if someone comes up to me and says “your a cunt” imma immediately get defensive and probably say something like “your mother” and bam now we in a little squabble so I 10000% feel like it just depends on how the word is being used

Personally I do use the word cunt (probably too often) but yeah I think it might be the most offensive as it is one of the shortest terms you can use so it rolls off the tongue with a bit more venom if used to insult someone.
