I know it was in the civil war but like only 10 percent of union soldiers were black so most of those prisoners being shot in the deadline were definitely white lol

James is a bit… I am not sure if I should blame it on UK ignorance of US racial history or his own obliviousness. Rem clearly said it reminded him of the type of senseless torture that some black people used to endure or was specifically made for POC because these kinds of ridiculous punishments were usually made FOR black people and others would adopt it later on . Similar to how you wouldn’t believe that that the Nazi’s were inspired by the racial laws and systematic racism in the US. Some things were just racist in nature and Rem intuitively got it not because of “lack of backing” but probably because of being generally informed about such things and so you naturally make educated guesses.

I understand where REM is coming from and James and Fuhad are low key wrong for trying to shame REM Not surprised though because the North remembers y’all insulted black woman not so long back so maybe being biased is what you two are. When it comes to race I think James goes with where the money is if being white is what he needs to be I bet he will in a heart beat. Learn your history because how can you not even think it has nothing to do with race the 1800s I was shocked.

Very unfair! Sahara isn’t called the Sahara “hot” desert - it’s just the Sahara Desert. Whereas the Antártica and Artic is defined as a “Polar” desert. If it was called the Artic Desert fine, but it isn’t. It’s the Artic “Polar” Desert. There’s definitely a difference here and not just in temperature 😅
