funny you say that at the end because i see that pretty much as the point of the show. You forget it’s based in such a horrible time because you’re following the lives of teens just trying to live their best life through it and was from what i’ve heard pretty realistic for people growing up during this time, trying to have as good as a life as possible while something horrible is going on in the background
