Richard's issue is he works in extremes. You cant say "keep him alive" about a patient who is in a terrible position just because you don't want any deaths right now and then scream at Meredith because he didn't survive, which would happen under any doctor. He was soft on her before and that realisation makes him be unfairly screaming at her for something that is not her fault. He just cant find the balance

That was the Skinny Love original. It was done by Bon Iver. Birdy did the cover, most people prefer Birdy's version and I think it was kinda popularised when her cover was played in Vampire Diaries.
