Love this episode! Yay Francis is back! Hate the Lola storyline though, although it does make her character a little more interesting and adds a new dynamic to the show and her relationship with Mary.

I love Mary and Francis, and forever will. As such it wont come as a surprise to you that I dont agree with your comment about no chemistry. Keep in mind that they are all meant to be young and naive in the first season, and that this applies especially to Francis and Mary. Probably because they were no older than 15 and 16 when they got married in real life. Historically speaking, they grew up together, and rumours said that they were actually very fond of eachother. He died from an ear infection, and as such it is very fitting and accurate that they showed his ears bleeding. What this show doesnt bring up is that Francis in real life lived a life full of illness, he had been sickly since he was a child. I get that you like Mary with Bash, but frankly they were doomed from the start, as Bash is a made up character.

I don't ship frary, but you're right about them loving each other irl. Google 'Mary Stuart poetry' and it should come up with some really beautiful poems she wrote after his death :)

Your reaction killed me!!! The rain of castamere comment lmao! You should read a bit about Mary queen of Scots! But don't worry it's not the end of Bash! And more Greer as well :)

Fran

I think more people hated this than you think 😂 Don't forget we've had 4 seasons to forgive it, (though personally I never will lol). Some other points: addy looked beautiful, ear infections like Francis had in the visions were fatal in those days without antibiotics, and don't worry. Not only does Mary's character improve, but there's a new bash ship around the corner ;)
