It funny how I ended up disliking Sol and loving Ming while the series progressed. And it should be said that at least in the book Ming is nearly 10 years younger than Joe and "Tong" was his gay awakening and first crush.

Tong is so manipulative I hate him

That would be awesome to see in the series, but still, I'm the plot and how the storyline is progressing. I didn't read the novel, but me too, am falling for Ming and I in no way am gonna cheer for Sol. Hate Tong! So excited!

Freya Attwell

Ming is totally messed up, and should be held responsible for his actions. He will do things for Tong, but after watching it a second time, I feel like he only agreed to trap Joe, not because of Tong, but because of Sol. As soon as he found out that Joe would be acting with Sol, his tone of voice and body language changed. His motivation is not his "love" for Tong, but his now possessiveness of Joe and wanting to make sure he never goes near Sol again. I missed it the first watch through, but his possessiveness of Joe was showing from so early on. Ming is crazy, but we will learn more as the show goes in. I don't like Ming, but future episodes helped me somewhat understand what's going on in that coocoo head of his. Joe deserves better
