So people in this world use body-strengthening magic instinctually? Interesting... > "It implies that people have crossed between our worlds before. Enough people to establish a viable population. Maybe not just people, either, because even if I don't recognise the species, it's still very obviously a 'tree', and if our worlds were completely independent, that would be another weird coincidence. It must have been long enough ago that either you've had time to evolve the capability of wielding mana, or we lost that capability, but either way, it must have happened at some point. And if it has happened before, it can happen again." Amy may be making an incorrect assumption here. In at least some of the worlds in your multiverse, the humans seem to have been created by the gods rather than evolving. (Also, most if not all of the nearby worlds in the multiverse have humans. The world of An Unprepared Castaway didn't, but that world came from another area of the multiverse. > She fell forward, dazed from the attack, smashing her face into the ground, which only added to her concussion. She felt her strength fade as her transformation shattered, and with her last seconds of consciousness, saw the supposed victim stooping to pick her up, a tear running down his cheek. Welp. Guess it's time for the thing. I expected Amy to figure out how to make her power her own first, TBH. Also, that tear is suspicious. Is the "supposed victim" being coerced somehow, perhaps?

Reminds me of a certain trinity that were investigating the presence of humans in so many worlds last we saw them. Although I suppose it would be kinda anti-climactic if the Katies just showed up sometime and dropped her off on her own world on their way through.
