As you navigate the precarious roads of the post-apocalyptic landscape, you come across a small, battered truck riddled with bullet holes. The scene is grim: inside, several bodies lie motionless, victims of an apparent ambush. In the wreckage, you discover two survivors, both gravely injured but clinging to life. The truck, heavily laden with a variety of supplies ranging from food and medical kits to ammunition, bears the distinctive insignia of a large red hand enclosed in a circle—a symbol you recognize as belonging to the Red Hand Militia, a group known both for their ruthless enforcement and valuable aid in the region.

I picked the 3rd option. I want to make sure this isn't some trap seeing as there are two survivors in what looks like a big fight. And in case there are any hidden surprises like some kind of deadly failsafe or something similar.

Something is fishy. Why didn't the ambushers take the supplies and/or finish off the wounded. So chose to wait and see if the ambushers are waiting for more victims or perhaps more Red Hand to investigate.

Going with the first option. They seem like people that want to help molded by the harsh world around them. Working together for mutual aid would be nice, and more beneficial in the long run than one cache.

I honestly love these posts. I picked the first option, then came to the comments and realized the third option is way more practical. It's easy to be idealistic in theory but in a post-apocalyptic environment being idealistic can put you and those around you in danger. It adds perspective to the choices people make in shows/movies that make people look like villains.

As much as I want to help them, I don't know much about the Red Hand Militia, sure I am aware how the Silverthrone Militia works. But to learn more about them, I just interrogate them before acting

Yeah, something feels very suspicious about this. Why would a militia or try just leave very useful equipment behind and just shoot the people? i'm gonna wait just a little longer and evaluate the dangers around. I'm not going to be walking myself in an ambush.

Self preservation should always come first. Information and the right conditions are needed before any actions should be taken. Haste makes waste as they say. If your gut tells you something isn't right, trust your instincts.

well if i had the option, and i was in a particular situation. id probably take the supplies and execute the survivors and spray paint the insignia of a bandit group or a rival on the side of the vehicle to not only draw away the scent from me but also pin two rivals against eachother.....if i was in a specific circumstance anyway >:D
