A number of you had voiced constructive criticism of the Rosie illustration, so I'm having the artist redraw her. This is the first sketch. Please provide feedback on this image. At this point, I can have the artist make changes, but once she gets past this point, changes are much more difficult.

My only criticism here is that this is the same face across all their illustrations. People have different shaped heads: hearts, rectangular, ovals, etc. but they seem really locked in on this one. The only difference between character faces are their lips really. Other than that these are great illustrations

I can let the artist know about the shape of her head. I'll try to come up with a reference that she can use. What about the rest of the look? The hair, the scars, etc.?

Much better! She looks more worn down (for better wording) by her life than the previous art.
