i cant watch TLBT every time i hear about it i cant help but think of what happened to the voice actess for ducky before the movie even released.

I watched this movie five million times, when I was VERY young. Kids can absolutely handle what's depicted. The goal isn't to upset them. It respects children's intelligence and fortitude, and gives them guidance on how to process grief.

"Cloud mom is getting (to) me." is a classic Arianna line. Also, if we're doing childhood classics, then it's now onto The Brave Little Toaster! Haven't seen that one since maybe middle school, but it's such a cool concept/story for a kid's movie (especially for 1987).
