Oh man you guys are in for a ride. Sam Esmail is a genius. Also this is the only show/movie that I ever watched to ever be so close to realistic hacking.

Austin

You guys are right to not trust Elliot as a narrator, but there is a lot that's not on your radar yet. Just you wait! Also, one thing the early episodes don't prepare you for is how emotional the various reveals & twists can be. Buckle up!

me when they open a linux terminal and type in "sudo -kill": this is BS why is nobody using a cyberdeck to hack the mainframe???

I hope you guys get around to reacting to Dexter. Honestly, Mr. Robot definitely has a Dexter's vibe with how it's filmed.

Kara

Great reaction. Always fun watching people get into the rhythms of the show for the first time, what to expect. I'll +1 what someone else said here: the 4 seasons of the show were planned from the beginning, and it tells a cohesive story while also being fun and interesting each season. it's not a "bad mystery box" show like certain other shows. Looking forward to the next!

Blind Wave made the same connection, I haven't seen Dexter but they said Elliot talking to us (the audience) is like Dexter talking to "dark passenger".
