Dani

i thought it was just me not watching dune prophecy😭

Boolio

Game of Thrones, Better Call Saul, and Ted Lasso🐉👩🏼‍💼⚽️

SilentBobFather

I am only watching on YouTube. Can't afford Patreon.

James Forrest

Haha :) Loving your Saul reviews guys, keep them coming.

Christophe

The results will probably always be skewed in favor of shows you've been watching for longer because it will always take time for people who aren't Patrons yet to realize that you're reacting to a show they love and sign up.

Kara

I'm only watching BCS and Thrones, and I'll probably fall off Thrones in later seasons (i'm already a bit behind).

Owen

I'm so happy you guys started What We Do In The Shadows, I love that show

Lee Hutchinson

Loving Game of Thrones. Any chance of The Fall of the House of Usher and Servant?

bstroup

Thank you for all the watch alongs guys.

TigerMyth

GOT for the win. Was already 2 seasons ahead of you with Saul on another Patreon. Not much interest in the other shows although I will probably get to Dune at some point.

Kim Jong-un

Better call Saul. I watched GOT up until season 4. I feel the quality drop off from here on.

Andrew Eschief

Everything but Ted Lasso, that's only because I havent gotten to it yet. I love hearing your thoughts and insights on all the shows, great reactions and analysis!

Bryan Erickson

Folks gotta come around on What We Do In The Shadows.

LionBro

If you do a new show poll, you have to add Schitts Creek.

Irish40

🇮🇪🇺🇸📽

Brian Thompson

Unfortunately nothing at the moment, just not interested in they shows currently. You know what though, that is okay 👍.

Chris Bruneau

I love me some BCS!!! I'm also good on Game of thrones, until the last season, then like the fat kid in dodgeball--IM' OUT!

dylan s

Just Better Call Saul and Game of Thrones at the moment. And whatever odd movie that you watch every now and then that I might be interested.

dylan s

What's that?

dylan s

True. Whenever I get the chance to, I always tell people on YT what the girls are watching on Patreon.

Matilda Beekay

I'm watching all of them at the moment except for Dune: Prophecy, but that's only because I haven't read the books or seen the films yet lol

Tsar Kesh

None atm. Your in a drought for me. Sometimes it happens.

DinChild

Better Call Saul for sure.

Nathan Steele

I would love if instead of 5 shows, you watched say 4 and had one day be for movies. This way if theres shows I (or anyone else) has no interest in, theres always at least a movie a week that can pique interest.

Lee Hutchinson

House of Usher is a gothic horror with most of the same cast from House on haunted hill and Servant is is an American psychological horror from M. Night Shyamalan. Both good shows.

Kara

I'd prefer they do shows to movies personally, but there are practical issues. Two eps of a 45 min show = 90 mins. Most movies are longer. Shows have a forced break so they can take a breather half way, or even split the records across days to account for stuff, movies you have to be locked in the whole time 2h+ whatever. Finally a movie slot is a lot harder to keep regular patrons for - if you're watching a popular show, patrons usually lock in for the whole show, whereas movie subs are random and sporadic.

Oscar H

looking forward to the squid games, severance and invincible reactions

Itzelle Hernandez

Stopped watching got because of school work so I’m rewatching it with you guys❤️❤️❤️❤️

Woz Lee

I wait until the season is over and then binge watch it, so I'll watch all of them at some point. The main one I'm just going to watch as they come out is What We Do in the Shadows, because that's just a good time.

Nathan Steele

I'm pretty sure they often bulk record. Filming say 5 one-hour shows in a day vs 3 shows and one 2-hour movie I dont think is some massive undertaking. They often take breaks during shows when they need to anyway, and just edit them out. Also, as for keeping patrons subbed. Movies are much larger breakout successes on YouTube than TV shows. The Return of the King video has over 3 times the views as any other video in months on the channel, and the re-upload of Harry Potter 1 is one of the best of the month so far. Movies are always going to attract subs even if its for shorter times. Imagine they committed to say Harry Potter once a week. Thats 8 movies (more if they did the spinoffs). Thats practically as long or longer than a season of a TV show anyway. I've subbed to well over a dozen patreons over the years off and on, and none ever did TV only (I'm sure they exist). All of them did a mix of both.

Woz Lee

I believe they intended to do Harry Potter, but YouTube kept shutting it down due to copyright. Lord of the Rings will always pull more views, because it's Lord of the Rings, not because it's a movie. There are many movies they've uploaded to YouTube which have done worse than a stock episode of some TV show, and I believe with Lord of the Rings wrapped up they've done all the big ones. The only movie that they haven't done which is almost guaranteed numbers are the animated Miles Morales Spiderverse movies. There are movies I want them to watch, like the Cornetto trilogy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and the other one) but I know they probably won't do numbers, but that's not my concern as a viewer, I just want fun stuff to watch. Honestly I would love Maple and Arianna to watch a documentary called Grizzly Man, I think the commentary on that would be classic, but I know that will probably never happen. Because ultimately they have to weigh up an aggregate of opinions and feedback from a weird bi-polar amorphous blob know as "the audience", and most of that blob seem to be crying out for The Wire and Sopranos.

Woz Lee

I haven't watched Prophecy yet, I'm going to binge watch all of them this Sunday. However I wouldn't wait to read the Dune books before watching the movies, there are many differences between the books and the movies, and the movies are better than the book. I know some would probably have a lot to say about that statement, but the book reads more like a stage play, everyone sitting in big ornate rooms scheming, talking about "plans within plans" whilst twirling their moustache. Also, Frank Herbert did a terrible job of emphasising the fact that the main character is not, and was never meant to be, considered a hero. He failed in this so utterly, that the book is often cited as an example of the "white saviour" trope. Dennis Villanueva fixed almost all of that, he created a layered living breathing universe full of grey, with a protagonist that perfectly balances what Frank Herbert wanted to do, with what he actually did do. Whilst creating two of the most visually incredible movies I've ever seen. As far as the movies go, I'd just jump in, then go check out the thumbnail to Arianna's Dune 1 reaction. They done her dirty, but it's hilarious. lol

Athasin

I look forward to your GoT watch alongs every week.

Matilda Beekay

I've heard friends hint at the fact that Herbert didn't do the best job with his own protagonist, so yeah I may just follow your advice and jump right in, then maybe read the books later to compare.
