Who's gonna tell em Abby isn't the reason for the horde attacking Jackson, it was the tendrils in the pipe getting messed with. Abby woke up some more which joined the horde, but Jackson was getting attacked anyway

Athasin

The horde the pipe woke up and the horde that Abby woke up were two different hordes so yeah, she's partially at fault.

Athasin

Tommy's actor has always been fine, never had an awkward phase.

Athasin

And yes, Seth is the one and only Bart Bass, Chuck Bass' dad.

Athasin

A lot of people miss that Ellie's animosity of Seth for the slur points to her unforgiving and vengeful nature. The same unforgiving and vengeful nature that has her going to Seattle with no plan other than to kill Abby.

Chris Thompson

Scary Movie NEEDS to happen. All 5 of those beautiful creations. 6 is coming soon, too!

Chris Thompson

If you want to see Tommy’s actor looking even more fine check out the last Terminator movie, Dark Fate. He’s the new bad Terminator so you’ll have to trade ruggedness for sleek and well-oiled, but them’s the breaks.

Chris Thompson

That was easily the best episode to date and has got me firmly back onboard, so yeah.

Conner

abby isn't the reason the avalanche of zombies came. They would have shown up anyway because of the cordyceps fungus they uncovered in the pipe.

lindelofstan

No, because that horde would not have been heading toward Jackson. The only reason it redirected toward Jackson is because of the tendrils

lindelofstan

I mean they are not necessarily at war, they are just a militia, like it is said in ep 2. It's not like being armed against zombies is outrageous, you don't need an active war to justify a militia

Tom McTernan

Also, her stumbling upon her half of the horde was completely accidental even if she was in the area for nefarious reasons. Are we also vilifying the dude who accidentally dug up the tendrils in the pipes? The are both equally responsible by that standard.

DinChild

Abby isn't responsible for the Jackson raid in any way. Whatever infected she woke up would likely have woken up when the fungus got hit. I thought the show made that pretty clear, personally.

The trip that Ellie and Dina took on horseback from Jackson to Seattle would have realistically taken about two months - it's 890 miles.

Nathan Steele

Nah, thats only 15 miles a day. A human could do that no problem. They were on horseback, they could easily double that.

DTGstl314

Anybody notice where Manny was doing lookout duty from in Seattle? Probably the most famous landmark in the city.

DTGstl314

Maybe 25 miles per day, at most. Which is still five weeks of travel. The horse is carrying two people and a lot of equipment.

DTGstl314

I have almost no idea what Mountainhead is about (the trailer shown before this TLOU episode)... is the title a play on Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead? It was written and directed by Jesse Armstrong, who is most famous for being the creator of one of the greatest HBO series of all time - Succession. So I'm guessing it's gonna have a very similarly sarcastic tone towards billionaires and how extreme greed and ambition can completely destroy entire families.

Diegesis

Yeah the trailer didn't blow me away but knowing it's Jesse Armstrongs next thing and with a strong cast I might give it a shot.

Random suggestion: Clue

Christophe

Yeah I hate to say it but I'm kind of on Seth's side here. Obviously what he said was bad, but he couldn't really have apologized better than he did and he ultimately was on her side. Like, get over it, Ellie.

Christophe

Jeez guys, give Dina some grace and time to figure shit out 😅 she's 19 and probably never been attracted to a girl before, never mind her best friend. It's easier for a lot of people to just tell themselves they're just goofing around with a friend than to admit that there might be something more.

Stanley Etienne

I like this reaction channel, but I will not be watching Last of Us s2 reactions. Just like I didn't finish the second game. Just like the second game, this show follows by now old and tired narratives of destroying the male characters just to prop up a girl boss like Abby. For decades in entertainment media there have been strong female characters. But now it seems like in the last 10 years it seems that humiliating and destroying the established male hero is the only way to prop up female heroes. This is why these games, and movies are not selling, and TV shows are getting canceled.

Pyt

Bro is still getting over being called a dork in 6th grade by a girl.

MabelandMargaret

Give some examples (even in this show) of women "humiliating" and "destroying" male leads.
