This movie does a lot of great stuff, it's very cool and emotional. I would just say that my main gripe is that it diverges in bad ways from the book after he learns the memories from Snape. There's zero chance Ron and Hermione would just let Harry go turn himself in and die. What Harry actually does is tell Neville to kill the Snake, then he goes under his invis cloak without telling anyone to go die. Also, I dont like that Harry and Vold have a big Hollywood magic battle chase thing. Harry being able to beat Vold was never about skill in magic. What Harry does is he goes around beating Death Eaters while under his cloak, then does a grand reveal he is alive in front of Vold, then he chastises Vold and explains a bunch of stuff, then reflects Volds spell and he dies and his lifeless body is on the floor. That's how it should have gone.

Yes, Arianna, the Percy story needs some love in the TV series they are making. Also, the Molly Boggart, seeing all her children's dead bodies and Harry. Then, when Fred dies, it is her biggest fear. Hits so much harder in the books.

the only dramatization i dont like in this movie is they made everyones wands connnect during the school defense fight. that only happens with harry and tom. everyone else wouldnt be having kamhameha clashes lol

Bellatrix reported her wand as stolen (they explain this in the books). Them showing the wand would've been proof that 1) it wasn't her, 2) it was the people who robbed her.

Nah, Harry and Voldemort circling each other while everyone just stands there and watches as Harry reveals everything including that he is now the master of the Elder Wand and basically pulls a, "Are you feeling lucky, punk," on Voldemort would've looked ridiculous. Seriously, I remember reading that and I couldn't help but laugh visualizing it. These two were just circling each other for 10 minutes while everyone stood around soaking in the gossip.

I’ve seen these movies many times, so I typically only get teary without really weeping. Watching with the two of you, I was sobbing right along with you. I would have liked a small mention of Neville’s position in the 19 years later scene.
