This show somehow gets better every time I watch it. I watched for like second or third time a couple years ago and I'm already excited to go through it all over again. I love the almost soap-opera-y nature of it, wherein we have these almost disconnected episodes with only the slightest thread of an overarching plot, but it's all held together incredibly because of the thematic depth and the richness of the characters.

I forgot how hilarious this show is. Everything is taken so seriously to the point where eating pussy is grounds for abuse and ridicule. While funny, I think it does well to highlight the mentality of the people we’re following. Reciprocity and perceived weakness are a no no.

It's crazy to me that I have not sat down and watched this series until now. I'm watching it for the first time along with the ladies here. And man, what a bananas episode!

I had the same reaction as you guys, like "wait, that's a thing, eating pussy is somehow considered shameful?", it's so absurd from today's perspective. Also, if you didn't get it, because I only know about it myself from googling it, apparently it's like this joke that women's genitals somehow smell/taste like fish? So all the sushi jokes and all that, it's all about that particular weird perception. I just mention it because, believe it or not, it becomes relevant later on xD

that scene where Junior smashes the pie in the lady's face, reminds us, that at the end of the day, mobsters are scum. The characters are entertaining to watch, but we can never forget what they are capable of.
