ah..we don't have same version. it drifts apart at 10:07..Not directors cut.

Appears to be theatrical. On the watch-along, it's about 2:15 and the special edition runs about 2:30.

There is a great episode of Cowboy Bebop that parodied Alien/Aliens, it's fucking sick. Called Toys in the Attic. Would recommend for anyone who likes Alien stuff.

I both love and hate “Aliens”. Alien was a great horror/suspense sci-fi and the change of genre in Aliens threw me off. It’s a great action movie, with great characters but it just didn’t hit the same for me the way Alien did. Somehow it even felt less sci-fi to me in a way. The next few movies in the franchise weren’t great but I really loved Romulus, as it felt a happy blend between the horror of Alien and the action thriller of Aliens.
