Great reactions as always! I love how hard Eren's sadness hit Arianna here. Y'all really empathize with the characters in a special way. Two quick memories as a manga reader... First, the "Eren ate his dad" twist was one of the few plot twists that fans accurately theorized in advance. But as a fan theory, it was VERY controversial. Like, the people who didn't believe the theory would get angry at people who did, because it seemed so twisted and awful. It was kind of vindicating to see the theory confirmed, but still twisted and awful in that special Isayama way, lol. Second, a lot of people (myself included) were certain that they'd remove Zachary's machine from the anime. It's so revolting and human-centipede-coded and nightmarish, even for this "giant monsters eating people" anime, and people really thought they'd just take it out of the story. (For context, a lot of smaller scenes from this uprising arc had been shuffled or removed, much moreso than previous arcs) But nope! They left the sh** machine in the show in all its glory, and I couldn't be happier.

Next week is going to boggle, disturb, and strike awe into your hearts and minds. And I'm saying this about my least favorite arc

I’m really enjoying the discussions after the episodes! As the story goes on I imagine they will get longer and I’m here for it. Though I totally understand not wanting to speculate too much because like you said, half the time you (and all of us who watched for the first time) are way off base. 😂 I’m just happy you guys are so invested.

you can think of information in this show like water. and the first two seasons is kind of a drought. but then season three is like getting water boarded. 😆

trust me you never need to apologize for theories no matter how crazy they are. I've seen some insane theories lol

So in the opening Eren is trying to get attention of his older self but his older self doesn't look, and its because they're at the sea at that point, which is after Historia, which is after Eren knows he will destroy the world and that he was the cause of his mother dying and his father, and cant stand to look at his child self. It's crazy
