I'm sure someone behind the scenes already mentioned this, or you'll get a bunch of comments about it, or you knew it but just didn't mention it in the ep, but since there aren't any comments yet: the scene with them finding the shark on the dock is layered. When he leaves, Barry hops over the shark, a reference to the "jump the shark" idiom, the origin of which is from Happy Days when The Fonz (played by Barry's actor Henry Winkler) literally jumped a shark while water skiing.

God I love the writers of the show. The first three season were just loaded with so many great goofs and just layers of setups and pay-offs.

When GOB's Wife says "I misunderestimated you" it's a George W. Bush quote. Guy was an idiot who could barely speak. Also her picture with GOB is another re-enactment of the Abu Ghraib photos. The Star Wars Kid was a 2000s meme. Some kid was goofing around with a video camera and his "friends" later found the video and uploaded it to the Internet. It's worth noting that by this point in the show's run it was really struggling with ratings and Fox was jerking it around with when they were airing it. They secured the sponsorship from Burger King and the writers really hammed it up ironically given how absurd the situation was.

I was going to say! as kids its one of the few VHS tapes we owned so Mrs Doubtfire is a bit of a classic for me, fun heartfelt movie! I think you would both enjoy it

Lucille---loose seal = comedy gold. Unfortunately, Amy Poehler and Will Arnett did divorce IRL. I love that this show has hit your funny bones and makes you really, really laugh. I feel like you need to keep a comedy on the schedule going forward (once Arrested is over) so you can have this hour of fun. Some suggestions: Community, Veep, The Good Place, The New Girl, Brooklyn 99.
