Patreon for Watch Alongs and Early Access: https://www.patreon.com/diegesisTV Arianna and Maple reach the chaotic end of Arrested Development Season 2 with episodes 17 (“Spring Breakout”) and 18 (“Righteous Brothers”). In “Spring Breakout,” Lucille’s drinking spins out of control just as the SEC closes in on the Bluth Company. GOB tries to stage a spectacular prison break for George Sr., Lindsay gets herself banned from a nightclub, and Buster discovers a horrifying new detail about his “hand.” Then, in “Righteous Brothers,” everything unravels — Michael’s attempt to keep the family together collapses into pure Bluth-style madness. Tobias and George Michael’s misunderstanding over “the tape” hits peak awkwardness, and the season ends with betrayals, callbacks, and perfect chaos. Packed with layered jokes, self-referential humor, and some of the series’ sharpest writing, these two episodes close Season 2 on an absolutely wild note.
