When Mal unexpectedly reunites with his con-artist ex-wife Saffron (a.k.a. “YoSaffBridge”), she offers the crew a job too good to refuse: stealing an Alliance officer’s priceless antique laser pistol. But with Saffron’s history of betrayal, nothing goes according to plan. As double-crosses pile up and trust wears thin, Mal and his crew must stay one step ahead — or end up stranded, literally in the trash. Packed with witty banter, clever twists, and the show’s trademark mix of tension and humor, “Trash” is Firefly at its most mischievous and character-driven.
