As Alicent scrambles to control the narrative of his final words, Otto seizes the chance to crown Aegon before Rhaenyra can claim the throne. What follows is a tense, political thriller inside the Red Keep: secret meetings, divided loyalties, and a desperate hunt for Aegon himself. Meanwhile, Rhaenys faces her own moment of truth — trapped in the Greens’ coup but unwilling to bend the knee. Her explosive escape at the coronation delivers one of the series’ most jaw-dropping moments, setting the realm on the brink of fire and blood. Filled with betrayal, moral conflict, and the creeping inevitability of war, “The Green Council” marks the first half of the Dance of the Dragons — and the beginning of the end for peace in Westeros.
