When Mal and Zoe receive a mysterious package from a fallen war comrade, it turns out to be more than they expected — literally. Inside is the preserved body of their old friend Tracey… who suddenly wakes up. What follows is a tense, heartbreaking journey across the stars as Serenity’s crew tries to uncover the truth behind his desperate situation while being hunted by Alliance agents. Filled with moral conflict, old wounds, and one of the series’ most poignant endings, “The Message” captures the heart of Firefly: found family, the scars of war, and the price of doing what’s right.
