HYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYPE YEEEEEEEEEES, now the show rly will begin

Infinite Ree

You made it! I'm so happy you're getting bombarded with answers 😅

Geno

I'll clarify one important thing that isn't a spoiler. Eren has the Attack titan and Founding titan. The Founding titan is one of the 9 titans. :)

Alex Nelson

Kruger: Its name... is the Attack Titan. Ron Howard: hey, that's the name of the show!

ZitherManifesto

You need to count Eren as 2 Titans. He is the Attack Titan, and his father inherited the Founding Titan's powers. When Ern ate his dad, he took on both titans. To find the child born as a titan, I would suspect they will accidentally turn into a Titan as a baby, and to control that one, they will have to feed the baby to a adult Titan.

steyn broere

a lot of things you guys wondered at the end will become more clear and explained next season.

MrMorales

You asked for the basement haha

Bring out the white board. Bring out the notepads. Get your ciggies and your red string. Make connections. The revelations don't stop coming. You're out of the Prologue now!

Xavier Chandler

Ik Vinland Saga isn't done but getting that after this would be a steal

rebelgmg

remember when Kreuger was telling the story that the walls of Paradise are all made of huge titans and the king in the walls threatened Marleyans that if they were going to take over Paradis that he would send all the titans from the walls to crush the earth...

HelloDarion

So happy you two have finally reached this point in the story! The revelations in the last three episodes of this season are earth-shattering for everyone when you first see it, & it definitely takes a minute to process everything. The narrative of the series has just taken a turn into something grander and beautifully tragic, with incredible themes about the nature of humanity. I'm eager to see the reactions to Season 4 - it's going to be an enthralling experience!

yedy

There are 9 intelligent titans. Eren( attack + founding titan) and colossal are the ones Eldians have. Marley has the other 6 including the 4 footed one. Marley kept Eldians alive because the king said " a million titans will trample earth" if Eldia was attacked. But 5 years back Marley felt they could start taking them on.

Feliciano Diaz

The reason Eldians are still being kept in Marley is because Marley depends on Eldians to supply their Military Titan Industrial Complex. Only Eldians can turn into Titans which are the most powerful weapons around. Even though technology is catching up, Titans still reign supreme.

I rarely if ever recommend someone rewatch a show. This is the one exception. Season 4 is a straight shot with less mystery imo. 1-3 has so many Easter eggs and hints to the greater plot it’s insane. Def worth a rewatch.

It's a small thing compared to all the big revelations in these three episodes... but I'm so glad you guys pushed back against what Floch was saying. His actions are a huge pet peeve of mine. . #1 biggest thing is he tells Hitch "Marlow regretted being there" and he tells Jean "You need to tell people the truth". The fact is we as the audience know Marlow's thoughts right up to the moment he died... he thought about Hitch, not about regretting what he was doing. Floch puts his own thoughts forward as "THE TRUTH" and it drives me nuts. . Commander Erwin was given full control over what to do with the Titan Serum, he gave that full control over to Levi, logical and emotional decisional use. If you believe in Erwin as a Commander, then you should support the use of the Serum on Armin. Floch wanted to see Erwin continue to suffer in this world and he disguises that as "It was the right decision and everyone knows it". . This concludes my Floch rant :D, loving the rest of the reaction.

windextor89 .

really hope a lot of the comments here are deleted or the girls dont read them cause some of yall are bringing up shit that aint happened yet.

Elesh

This amazing point, marks the shift in the story and in Eren's forshadowed change here. It's no longer about killing all the titans, or finding out what's going on. The goal is clear. Season 4 will take you on such a ride it will be nothing comapred to seasons 1-3. I can't wait. Also the following opening songs are fucking amazing.

Flubbedsquid

Generally I think the Marleyans keep the Eldians alive because they use the 7 titans they have control of for military purposes (like the colossal, armored etc). This essentially makes them the strongest nation on earth in a pre-nuclear time period.

Flubbedsquid

Also yeah, you guys pretty much got all the titans we know: 1. Armored (Reiner) 2. Colossal (Bert -> Armin) 3. Beast (Zeke) 4. Founding (Frieda -> Grisha -> Eren) 5. Attack (Owl -> Grisha -> Eren) 6. Female (Annie) 7. Ymir's unnamed titan (Our Ymir, not the founder Ymir) 8. The long-faced quadruped titan 9. Unknown

Sevenpsych

Aaah jeez Rick, we're going to have to watch season 4 now just to answer the new questions.

Cornelius Ukena

in case no one’s mentioned, the studio changed for s4. so when things look a little different that’s why. help’s to know going in because it can be a little jarring see familiar characters. these episodes are also def worth a rewatch. they are DENSE. a few of your discussion questions are briefly addressed or clarified. but also, loved the discussion. so excited for s4 reactions from y’all! it’s gonna be a wild ride. 🙃

Joe Blankenship

Yall finally made it!! After 3 seasons of lore appetizers, we finally made it to the lore and backstory buffet. When I first watched these episodes, it kinda felt like hearing the crazy backstory of a weird cult/religion. All the stuff with the founder Ymir dealing with some supernatural entity that brings forth these wild titan powers. Season 4 is bout to be a roller coaster!!

Camden Marr

just wanna say that while i agree floch should not have said that, and i 100% do not support or like floch as a person, but marlow did regret being there. some of his last words are “why am i, at a moment like this” which is him wondering why he chose this path and him regretting it. doesn’t mean floch should have said that, but he wasn’t lying. however be was still just assuming those were marlo’s thoughts, so he was still just saying what he believed to be the truth and not what he 100% knew was true, so your point is still halfway valid

Camden Marr

oh my gosh the freaking openings are so good

JB

Lmao absolutely love that y'all can appreciate the gravity of revelations that occur at the end of this season. Also love that yall are now bobbing heads to the intro and gotta say I am SO excited for you to hear s4's different intros

D

you have no idea how happy i was when i finished 21 and noticed you did 22 as well lmao

SabotheHunter

The Duo have finally completed the Attack on Titan Prologue! Season 4 is such a genuine masterpiece

K

Don’t worry about being so quiet during these episodes, there was a lot of information to absorb. It’s clear from your after-episode discussion that you kept up pretty well! I’m excited to see what you think of season 4. Thanks for the triple drop today!

Killer753895

You can go back and watch scene, Marlow is thinking about Hitch sleeping in (which the show also shows she was NOT doing and that was purposefully done). But the quote you used actually proves my point., Marlow is like “Damn why am I thinking about something so nonsensical when I’m about to die”. There is 0 regret in Marlows’s thoughts regarding being there with the Scouts, the regret is that Marlow didnt tell Hitch that he liked her, he spends his last seconds of his life thinking about her. Floch his 100% taking his own thoughts, presenting them as other peoples thoughts and then using that to make a hate filled decision sound like the “logical choice”. It is definitely done intentionally by the writer and it blows my mind how many Floch supporters there are out there.

Mark Ochweri

This show is infinitely rewatchable and I love it!

darkchaos125

Man rewatching this show where the King warned "if you mess wit us, the titans in the walls will destroy the entire world" And then the Mikasa/Armin mentioned in someone's memories. That's so confusing because only Eren knows of Mikasa/Armin but it was mentioned by a guy who was born well before Eren ever existed, which throws us for a loop to make theories of how timelines work in this story. To be honest the first time I watched this show, it was such as mindfuck, now that I'm rewatching it again, it makes a lot more sense (esp without the long wait periods, even though I rewatched S1-3 before S4, it didn't make much sense). Final season took forever to be released and it was released in at least 2 or 3 parts.
