Rhaenyra Targaryen returns to the ashes of her son’s death and issues her declaration of retribution. Meanwhile, Aegon II Targaryen, enthroned but insecure, plays king while his council conspires. Alicent Hightower struggles with her diminishing power even as a secret liaison threatens her stability. On the edge of the realm, Jacaerys Velaryon journeys north to Winterfell to secure allies for the coming storm. And beneath the gilded halls of King’s Landing, a silent infiltration by assassins marks the threshold—blood for blood, a son for a son. This premiere is quieter in choreography but heavier in consequence: the stage is set for war, the dragons circle, and the reckoning begins. Maple and Arianna feel the tension—this season’s cost will not just be crowns, but souls.
