Perfect timing for dinner, always excited to see these!

lindelofstan

are these ever gonna be made into edited reactions, or is this a watchalong only show? just asking to know if i should wait for edits or if theres no point lol

blitzman08

just guessing but the edited will probably come out after edited house of the dragon is complete

Elesh

You guys almost got it figured out about the set up, but I think you forgot about what we were shown as a flash forward in episode 1. And thus...you know

Athasin

It will after House of the Dragon is done on Youtube

Athasin

Cameron and Daphne are what Nate and Matty would be if they embraced the toxicity.

First time I watched this, I felt bad for Ethan. This time... I don't, because she gave him ALL DAY to be honest... and he lied. And then after he was caught he claims that he didn't lie to her... WHEN HE WAS LYING TO HER THE ENTIRE DAY. OF COURSE she wasn't gonna believe him.

SPOILER IN THE COMMENTS, DON'T READ THEM

Chris Bruneau

Nice catch on that photo, Arianna!!!--remember what Quentin said, "he was a cowboy," "I met him out west" "I would do anything for him"--where does Greg work again?? the Bureau of land management. (a rural federal police force)

I've been good this season but i had to watch the last episode immediately. Idk how ya'll do it lol. Cannot wait for next thursday!

Kind of a dumb reaction in terms of your reasoning letting Harper off the hook for potentially cheating. Just because Ethan was an idiot for all the reasons you mentioned doesn't absolve Harper for cheating, which is what it felt like you guys did. Ethan is both an idiot and also is rightfully crashing out.

I used to love SVU, I used to watch it every day before work and would look forward to the like 10 hour marathons that USA used to do on it back in the day. I'm usually not one for "getting back at" someone when they wrong me but man watching Ethan spiral over not trusting Harper is kind of satisfying. He says he wants her to just trust him but he isn't giving that back from the other direction. I think I still prefer season one, at least someone on the show showed some legitimate positive growth as a character with Quinn. I'm not really getting any of that with any of the characters this season, everyone just kind of sucks all the time?

Cant wait for next week, i love how everything ends

Jennifer Coolidge’s character started to realize she was in danger that’s why she said “I’m so nervous” It wasn’t because of that guy.

You are so, so close... but not quite there.

Law & Order: SVU is literally the longest running live action primetime scripted television series in the history of American television. The only scripted primetime series that has been on the air longer is The Simpsons, which obviously isn't live action. Law & Order (the original series) is the second longest live action primetime scripted series ever - over 1,100 original episodes have aired between both series combined. The first episode of the original series (and the entire franchise) first aired more than 35 years ago - September 13, 1990. I've never seen a single episode of the original series, SVU, or any of the other half dozen spin-offs that have aired over the last 3+ decades: 1,425 episodes spread out over 70 individual seasons. If you tried incorporating the franchise into your reaction channel, you would be working on it until you're both eligible for Social Security. Wolf Entertainment, the company headed by L&O executive producer Dick Wolf has produced nearly 3,000 episodes of television between the L&O franchise, Chicago franchise, and FBI franchise of television series.

They're def in for quite the surprise 😅

I used to watch SVU and Law & Order after school and on weekends in high school. I still haven't seen close to half of the franchise and this is coming form someone who watched 14 seasons of Grey's Anatomy in a few weeks. Also i don't recommend doing that because I became emotionally exhausted.

Y'all are actually kinda wild for taking Harper's side so completely. The whole identity of this show is that everyone in it is flawed and kind of shitty. I feel like you really missed the mark on a few points in season 1 too. "Satire is a sort of glass, wherein beholders do generally discover everybody's face but their own"

I'm with you guys, I'm a Harper defender. I feel like people hate her because she’s annoying, when the other characters are doing actual illegal/ confirmed immoral actions. She's definitely a bit judgey and possibly a little pretentious, but that's nothing compared to everyone else. The way she handled finding that wrapper was way calmer than I would have been. Also, as someone who has lived in Italy for 8ish months a gay person, can confirm it was a pretty horrible experience on the acceptance/openness front. Me and my partner at the time were harassed constantly in public, and we were once followed home and harassed by the police. I really doubt there are any actual lesbian bars in Palermo, but probably some gay bars. It’s a really religious and intense in many parts in country. I met many Valentinas (closeted middle aged people) in my time.

if harper cheated for a kiss, why are you not calling ethan out for cheating too bc he did kiss that italian girl… why aren’t you calling him that too and just sticking to idiot lol

Lyssa

1:06:22 I am so not kidding, I have got to hang out with y'all😂💗

I love how close they are to figuring out the situation with Tanya, but it’s much darker than they assume. Still pretty damn close and good on you for catching the clues. Also remember how he said he’d still to this day do anything for the straight Wyoming Cowboy he’d crushed on those years ago.

Yeah the thing for me with Harper is, I was actually with her for a long time. Yeah she was snobbish but I kind of understood why, Cameron and Daphne are really annoying and she was right that they were pretty fake. But the thing I always liked about Harper was that she was very honest, very direct. In no relationship is communication perfect, but it felt like she was as close to it on that front as you could possibly be. So doing this petty toxic revenge thing, I guess it annoys me because I feel like it brings her down. Like she actually was the best person of the four of them, the most honest and probably the most moral. I don't hate her for doing what she did here, it's emotionally understandable and probably very satisfying, but I'm just a bit disappointed.

Christophe

Valentina's advances on Isabella and the manipulation of her work environment to further those advances were inappropriate no matter the circumstances, and she should have known better. But it does put it into a different light when you realize the effort wasn't predatory, but just the misguided attempts at connection from a lonely, love-starved woman who got infatuated with the first pretty girl that just gave her a genuine compliment. Plus, it does seem like she's been closeted her whole life and like you alluded to, the acceptance of queer people in Italy (especially southern Italy and Sicily) isn't great, not by European standards. So there's a high likelihood she's felt like she's had to hide her desires her whole life which is probably the reason she's so inexperienced.
