Few thoughts about this fantastic episode: 1. My wife told me that based on many of her own experiences with her college sorority sisters—that catty / super-competitive behavior of the 3 girlfriends is SPOT ON accurate! 2. I went back and rewatched season 1, and I am now of the opinion that Greg/Gary intentionally “met” Tania—she was a mark from the very beginning, that was not random at all!!! 3. The storyline of Timothy Ratliff coming un-glued because of his potential fraud indictment reminds me of a line from Trading Places—“the best way to hurt rich people is to turn them into poor people”

I LOVE when a good channel does a good series like this, now I look forward to Thursdays and Fridays(Mondays too) for these drops! Also, ya'll should research Lisa if you dont know who she is, with Blackpink having been the #1 female k-pop band, she deserves some praise taking on this role as a first time actor

It's such a great and unique choice to cast the 3 similar tall-ish blondes in a group of friends. Almost always, a group of women is very easily distinguishable by hair color, height, bodytype, but Mike White was very intentional in casting 3 rather interchangeable women in this group of friends.

The Ratliff family is from North Carolina, not Texas, and they all seem pretty firmly planted there. Victoria, the mom, went to UNC Chapel Hill, Timothy, the dad, went to Duke, the oldest son Saxon graduated from Duke, Piper is a senior at UNC Chapel Hill, and Lochlan is a high school senior who got accepted into both Duke and UNC Chapel Hill. Kate, the tall one of the three women friends lives in Austin, where she met Victoria Ratliff at a baby shower ten years earlier. Not sure where the three friends are all originally from, but they live spread across the country. Laurie lives in NYC and is a recently divorced attorney with a problematic daughter who keeps getting in trouble, and Jaclyn lives in LA and is a famous actress who is married to a man ten years younger than her. I think Kate is just a trophy wife in Austin.
