Its so funny that they keep pretending that Dom and Letty are in their late 20s/early 30s, when I know Vin was like 55 and Michele was 44, and they kind of look it. Also I legit thought it was someone doing a Jason Mamoa cosplay but you cant cosplay those eyebrows. What is happening, what is this acting choice by Jason Mamoa? The CGI where Dom is driving down the stairs after the bomb looks so bad. Oh good its all the CGI that looks bad. I figured it out, Jason Mamoa is giving big Kelvin Gemstone energy. Never mind, that scene with the dead bodies kind of sold me on the character, truly terrifying. The "he was actually always there, we just didn't show you" is the fucking worst twist and I'm so tired of it. Please just give me at least one actual hint that isn't "these writers are hacks." This isn't the worst movie I've ever seen (Birdemic still exists), its definitely the laziest though and I hate it a lot.

The funny part of this movie is that while Jason Mamoa was Aquaman in the recent movies the buff Agency guy was Aquaman in the show Smallville. So this movie is basically Dominic Torretto vs the Aquamans.

Also Jason Mamoa's character reminds me of video game villain. Straight unhinged.

Yeah this movie fucking sucked lol

Maple being completely slackjawed for a full minute was so worth this awkward vibe of a movie

2026-09-05 05:00 I was afraid to watch this one for a long time and when I finally did I was surprised how good it was. It's also surprising that other people are commenting that it sucked.

A shame this movie was so boring & bad, but I'm fully onboard with you two going through the Transformers films, would be fun to see those again!

Reaction to this movie made me think of a recommendation: since you primarily recognised Alan Ritchson from Blue Mountain State I would recommend checking out Reacher for the channel if you haven't seen it already. Fairly solid crime/action/mystery series that's a fun time (I'm a big fan of the second season). If it helps move the needle at all Harvey Guillén (Guillermo <3) plays the coroner in the small town in a recurring role in the first season.

Reminds me of going through the films again because of PointlessHub. Not only that he convinced me to watch Transformers One. Not with his review, he was very adamant to turn off his review and watch the film. But just his recommendation made me watch it and I am glad.
