Jumanji (1995) | Watch Along

Comments

Alexis

and just like that, the weekend is saved!! 🤣

Inapplicable

Don’t forget Zathura: A Space Adventure! 😁 that is the sequel to Jumanji as they’re both based on books by the same author. & generally it is more well regarded than the Sony sequels they did recently. So yeah my votes in for a reaction of Zathura^^ it’s just as good as this movie & I love it

Sergio Q

I'm down to watch you guys go through the new Jumanji movies. I'm still hoping for pirates of the Caribbean's movies or the transformers. Maybe all the Batman movies to.

Xavier Chandler

Might as well ride the Jumanji train🫡

T.wiley

This a re upload?

f hf

"Beat this kid up" lmao

Reggie Riobe

love this movie, and this reaction. two movies in the 90s I'd love for you two to check out and enjoy are. Anaconda 1997 staring Jennifer Lopez and Ice Cube. The Mask 1994 staring Jim Carrey

MiddayDisco

New movies are terrible, don't even consider watching them.

Owen

The new jumanjis are genuinely bad, at most they belong on camp diegesis

Athasin

I too thought that Jumanji was a scary movie because the concept of being sucked into a board scared me as a child, and I kept thinking it was like a Ouiji board.

T.wiley

Fuck maybe I am 🤔😭😭

Joshua Luzania

In case you guys didn't notice, the actor that played Alan's dad was also the Hunter that was going after him (thus making the board game clue about it making him seem like a child more prescient). It also gives more context to his words to him at the end.

Eric

The new Jumanji movies are good. No, it's not like the original but still a fun time.

Athasin

I haven't watched the newer Jumanji's so I would be down with watching it with you guys.

dpenlow

The new movies are fun. Much lighter vibe than this one.

I didn't have the Jumanji board game as a kid but one of my best friends did and my entire friend group were obsessed with it for about a month. it was all because we thought it was so cool that in order to read the cards you had to place them inside of the little decoder thing in the center of the board. I don't remember if we ever actually beat the game because it was pretty difficult since the main challenge of the game is to roll dice in order to beat the cards challenges and if you failed 10 times you would just lose. I remember there being a timer for it to, but I don't remember exactly how that worked. It did not look like the one you guys found, it was very much your standard board game material. LOL Maple instantly turning on child Allen after he left the factory really made me laugh so hard.

Three things: 1. I also didn't think this was a 'scary' movie at all, despite being afraid of movies like Jurassic Park as a kid. Then I think I showed this to a bunch of elementary school kids when I was watching them for indoor recess and was surprised when they thought it was a little scary... 2. That being said, maybe this is where my fear of monkeys comes from? They're freaking terrifying...throwing knives, shooting guns, working together, stealing cars... 3. The music in this is great, and the main actors do such a good job of selling the little moments of tragedy and terror!

Pyt

Dead Poets Society (1989) and What Dreams May Come (1998) are my votes for more Robin Williams viewings.

Ker'Mhod

It was french, the language at the end :')

Aaron

Maple watched the first 3 Pirates movies for the channel. Not sure if Ariana has seen them.

Aaron

I would LOVE to see y'all continue your Robin Williams watch with Hook. THAT movie is a feel good family movie. I also am partial to Bicentennial Man, but I know it's not a popular opinion.

Nada Williams

We definitely need more Zathura reactions on Youtube for sure. Zathura deserves to have the spotlight for movie reactions like Jumanji has.

Danny Max

If you guys are going to watch more robin williams movies, you should watch RV (comedy) and What Dreams May Come (Fantasy/Romance Drama)

Danny Max

Please don’t watch the rest of the Jumanji movies, they’re bad😭.

PopeScooby

Dead Poet's Society and Birdcage are Great movies. Also, only because you didn't mention it so I'm not sure if you noticed, The actor who played Alan's dad is the same as the actor who played Van-Pelt (the hunter).

Heilige Taube

she said BEAT THAT KID UP lolll "maybe they beat him up cause of how he constantly doesnt owns up to things" lol maple instantly siding with the bullies lmao
