I lost my mom and dad around the same time, 4 months apart. And I remember going to see this at the theater about a year later, just bawling my eyes out in there.

KyloJames

Ahhh I really want to watch with you guys, but last time I watched, my dad had just passed. Such a sweet, genuine movie. Hope you guys enjoyed it🙌

KyloJames

Sorry about your parents. I lost my Dad the same time. This movie completely wrecked me when I first watched. It’s tough, but one of Disney’s best

Diegesis

We are sorry to hear this, hope you are doing okay! That is totally understandable

Diegesis

That is so emotional and what are the chances of seeing such a beautiful movie about remembrance we hope you are doing okay and that this brought you some relief!

Diegesis

hey we understand completely now

KyloJames

Your channel helps tremendously 🙏 thank you both and your team!

Joe Blankenship

I do like the idea that maybe we get to see our loved ones again. And it's super colorful and boney.

Great movie and reaction. Also, I think I heard Superbad is up next? Lol

Ben

This movie hits me more now than when it came out because I have my daughters

Ashley Pedersen

First time I watched this movie my dad had just been diagnosed with vascular dementia. He died during Covid…means a lot to see this reaction. Thank you both!

Kayce Stubblefield

Few songs produce instant tears in me, but "Remember Me" is such a one...both when I saw it, and on a later occasion (the school I worked at at the time always hired mariachi for the end-of-year culture fest, it was awesome) I happened to be passing by and heard it performed live and I started crying before I even recognized what it was from!

Alexander Ocean

I LOVE when reactors have the same emotional reactions as myself to movies like this (helps validate the tears lol), such a beautiful movie. Thank you for this! Now I can't wait for Superbad to drop!

Pyt

I don't think I've cried this much since the first time I watched It's a Wonderful Life (1946).

Diegesis

I've lost someone to a type of dementia as well (maple) Covid was such a difficult time already I know exactly how you feel I had a couple people who had preexisting conditions that were lost to covid. I'm glad you got to share such an incredible moment watching this amazing movie with him considering how difficult vascular dementia (and the pandemic) is I hope you're doing okay we are sending you lots of love!

Mama Imelda is played by Alanna Ubach who played (among SO MANY other movies) Naomi from Waiting. She seriously doesn't get enough credit for versatility.

Ashley Pedersen

It can’t be overstated how much it means when I encounter people who understand that kind of loss. Dementia takes so much, not just from the person who had it, but from their loved ones. You both are so genuine and it’s a joy to watch. And Maple, I am right there with you on watching this when you’re emotionally blocked. This movie wrecks me every time but I always feel better after watching/bawling my eyes out.

Such a beautiful masterpiece. I remember seeing this in the theater on 3D and that scene when they reveal the land of the dead, it was so incredible looking. And I kid you not, by the third act my 3D glasses were completely fogged up from all the tears coming out of my eyes 🥹

city boyyyyyy

this is how i am every single time i watch this movie, incredible reaction guys. literally i do what maple said, anytime i need a cry, i put this movie on lmao
