I think it's pretty clear that that lot at the end is not where Sil shot Adriana. It's more residential where they are, and it would be pretty dumb to kill her there, Sil obviously took her somewhere more remote. But it's undoubtedly meant to evoke that and Tony is clearly thinking about it. Tony's obviously always had a soft spot for "beautiful innocent creatures".

Marcus Cato

Excellent point. I think it's about showing where Tony's head is at, and how the consequeces of his choices are always haunting him.

Hank Scorpio

You gotta remember that Tony and Sil always liked Adriana. So doing what "had to be done" isn't something they feel good about.

Tony doesn't see women outside his family and maybe inside to a degree as people. They are like pets to him. Adriana was his newest pet. At the end he was sad because he had to put her down and he knew the area he was at must have been similar to the last thing she saw.

Adam Vialpando

He and Sil felt more guilt and gave more dignity to Pussy, a man who was much more active in being an informant.

Athasin

That's a great point.

What Sil says to Adriana about how Chrissy will be alright. I always saw it as him saying he will be alright without her. And secondly, fucking FBI. My father was homicide in the city and talked about how the fbi came in on a murder case and took over, promised the killer immunity cause he was connected to bigger fish. The guy got out to seemingly cooperate and "Fled" (most likely was killed by his own people, his girlfriend was found dead. FBI just said oh well and packed up and left.

"It's always fascinated me why Tony seems overwhelmed by sadness here at the end. I don't think you can say it was because he had feelings for Adriana, that's a little too simplistic. You notice his expression really changes when Carmela mentions money. I think, spurred on by the recent murder of Adriana and the mention of this 'investment', Tony has a sudden awareness of who he really is. He hates that there is so much misery in the world, but to be reminded that he essentially murdered a beautiful young woman to protect himself and his livelihood (so that he can afford to make investments like these), makes him aware that he actually plays a large part in the suffering of humanity; not only is life depressing, he collectively makes it worse."

Tony saying "I'll see you up there" as his last words to Adriana >.>

The first time I saw Long Term Parking, I was genuinely angry‑crying upset. I never liked Christopher from the jump; he’s a blatant psychopath and he’s been abusing Adriana since day one. And honestly, I always felt sorry for her. She was genuinely naive, almost childlike in how little she understood about the real violence behind the life she was living. I never believed she knew he had actually committed murder. She seemed to think he was basically a thief, a grifter, someone who ran scams and got into trouble, but not someone who personally killed people. He constantly lied and kept his real life hidden. That’s what they’re trained to do in the mob: wives and girlfriends don’t get told anything real. They’re kept in the dark on purpose, and Adriana was the perfect target for that kind of manipulation. I’ve mentioned this before, but her last name literally means “the doe,” and that symbolism hits even harder after this episode.

After I saw this episode, I didn’t watch the series for a week. The betrayal Christopher commits is unspeakable, not just cruel, but cowardly. I didn't want to see his face, or Tony's. He chooses himself, his addiction, and his status over the one person who actually loved him. It’s one of the most devastating moments in the entire show. And then there’s Silvio. Up until this episode, I honestly didn’t have much of an opinion about him either way. But the way he kills her, and worse, the thing he calls her in the moment she’s terrified and begging for her life, shows exactly what kind of mobster he is. It’s easy to forget these men are monsters because the show is so funny, so stylish, so human. But David Chase has said it himself: they’re not antiheroes, they’re predators.

I don't think they have much of a conscience, honestly. I think they feel shame more than regret. Remember Tony's a sociopath. I already commented above that up until I saw this episode, I honestly didn’t have much of an opinion about Sil either way. But the way he kills Adriana, and worse, the thing he calls her in the moment she’s terrified and begging for her life, shows exactly what kind of mobster he is. It’s easy to forget these men are monsters because the show is so funny, so stylish, so human. But David Chase has said it himself: they’re not antiheroes, they’re predators. Michael Imperioli is so believable as Christopher because he's such an amazing actor.

Fair enough. My opinion of Sil went down the drain in that episode with Tracee.
