Best episode of the series!

A lot of the Jonas x Martha stuff is my least favourite part of the show, in part because I think Teen Jonas and Martha are two of the weaker actors and have basically no chemistry (although Jonas does well with "Big Sad" scenes). But in this episode I didn't really have that much of an issue with what Jonas does, despite knowing Martha is his aunt, because in his mind Jonas was about to go kill himself. He was about to go make it so he was never born, so I don't think he had any idea that there'd be any consequences to what he was doing.

I really like that you get to see a glimpse into everyone's lives where you can see them all joyful and happy, at least on the surface. The party is lively and everyone is dancing and laughing but as you can see in the split screens everyone is actually already miserable or cheating and lying and everything is already fucked lol. You guys are really perceptive and pick up on stuff, don't get discouraged when you end up wrong on some stuff because it happens to all of us. The confusion, the guessing, the being wrong. It's part of the fun ride. I know the incest stuff can be a bit much but I really do like the underlying thread it's trying to tug at to get the viewer thinking. Then you also have poor Jonas thinking he's there to save the day only to realize he has to create his own sadness that destroys his mental later on with his father's death. All I can say is buckle up for the last two episodes; the finale in particular might be my favorite episode of the whole show.

Incest is wrong for many reasons, but I don't think any of these reasons apply to their situation unless they decided to coneive a child. It's still a lil weird, yes, but I gotta finish the series cuz I just watched the season finale, and holy cow, some things get flipped on their head. I wonder how many episodes ahead they are right now...

Martha's actress did great. Even in the first season. I think the thing with Jonas is that the character acts weird (and to be honest, a lot of the characters act in a weird way, but Jonas most of all). So it looks like bad acting from the actor.

Remember it looked like Adam was getting teary eyed when Jonas was going into that warm hole (god particle). He knew what he was doing and sending him. He knew the pain that younger Jonas was going to go through by sending him back. In that scene it makes it more powerful seeing Adam to close out Episode 5 with that pain and emotion we can see in his eyes.

At no point did I call him bad. Saying he is among the weakest in this show's cast does not equal bad. Maybe instead of you all getting so care-mad you could take an extra half second to read what you're replying to.

Hannah gets a lot of shit, deservedly so, but this episode reminds you just how much of a POS Ulrich was as well, lol.

19:00 i dont think you guys get it. At this point in the episode, Jonas' whole mission is to come back to this time and stop his dad from killing himself and to stop Mikkel from getting lost. In his mind, he is about to sacrifice himself and erase himself and all the knots and so he was saying goodbye to martha at the lake, Kiss her one last time and tell her that despite literally the entire universe being against them, he still loves her and they are perfect because why not? he's gonna be erased and she wont remember this moment or him. so its not "cruel to her" in his mind because this experience would never happen to her because there would be no Jonas
