i know you guys are pretty much done with the season and have probably figured this out already, but it's helpful to know that when the screen does that "whoosh" thing it's a signal we're jumping between worlds.

Jonas made it to the other world and saw he didn't exist. So he assumed he was the reason this world didn't have a version of himself. Only to find out that no, he had nothing to do with it. It's the world that he wanted.

In season 1, mikkel as an adult was covered in sludge or whatever in the woods too!

Maple with some insane theory about angels at the beginning of every episode pulled out of literally nowhere. Meanwhile completely oblivious to all of the actual events happening in the show meant to clue you in.

Diegesis

Are you watching the same show as us, have you seen the end? We have now seen the whole thing so I am curious if you have as well. The Fall of the Damned is the painting Adam keeps in his study that he is constantly looking at.. the show also just has an insane amount of religious iconography... soooo.... season 3 episode 5?? Or a pretty significant line in the final episode?

I know what you're referencing and one line of dialogue in the final episode is not the same as some plot line about fallen angels
