I love how the brothers never allow themselves to cry because they think they've already been through the worst and want to move on. When Winry cries for them, Ed practically asks her to stop. But when Izumi sensei asks them to cry for their own good, they cry. Why? 1/ Because she can understand them. 2/ Because they're the closest thing she has to a child, and she's the closest thing they have to a mother. I love the Curtises. Badass couple !

Next few episodes are gonna be really great. For me it's where the series gets to the next level!

Ah nuts: looks like my daily reminder to watch the OVAs didn’t help. (Don’t worry, I’m not surprised lol. this was a much rougher week then normal for you, so i don’t mind continuing to say it until it happens~) I’ll watch the full reactions in a few hours, looking forward to them regardless my dude!

Oki: actual reaction comment lol First off: you are completely 100% in the clear to watch the opening starting next ep, and I would really recommend doing so on account of the fact that it's going to change after about 3 more episodes XD Point 2: it is *SO* ironic that you brought up One for All when you did, but I'm unfortunately not going to be able to explain why for about a month; just know that I found it funny :P Third: I think the reason why Izumi never tried to get her organ back after what she did is because she's accepted what happened to her. She did something she knew she wasn't supposed to do, she suffered the consequences, and she views it as being fair. With Ed and Al, they don't view it as fair, especially when it comes to Al. They've talked about it in the show before, but Ed was the older brother, he was the one that basically pulled Al into that whole thing, and yet Al is the one that got the brunt of the consequences; and that is something that Ed especially cannot accept, and so he's trying to do whatever it takes to ensure that his brother does have to suffer for the mistake that Ed made.

NGL, this may be one of the most important anime intros in terms of setting up the show. I know spoiler prevention is a thing, but sometimes the experience gets tapered by doing that.

Wind hashira

I never thought about that with Edward and milk😂

Another thing, Lucky! You might not know, but FMA is a manga created by a woman, Hiromi Arakawa! (who at the beggining of her carrer had to pretend to be a man so as not to put off too many manga readers.... she called herself Hiromu Arakawa to make it sound more masculine). It's quite rare for a shonen, so I think it's important to mention it. Especially considering the magnificent work she's created. I actually think the fact that she's a woman explains why all the major female characters are so well-written and so little exposed to vulgar fan service, lol. Even the psychology of the male characters is addressed in a very subtle way. Bravo to her!
