I think what you said before was a bit wrong, yes he can predict the attacks but there is a limit to his physical speed and power compared to overhaul and this attack ~ he saw it but he couldn’t do anything to avoid it.

Maks Lesniewski

Which is weird, considering he watched Naruto before MHA, and that's literally Sasuke's whole take-away from his fight with Lee - it doesn't matter if you see it coming, if you're not fast enough to react to it.

AccordingToLucky

Yea, but Nighteye just looked so physically prepared and ready. I was shocked that he got taken out like that

Maks Lesniewski

After hearing you mispronounce "Lemillion" the entire episode, I really got the urge to start a "confidently incorrect" counter, LMAO.

what's wierder is that you think one could remember all that after watching 32434 animes together

Hey look: Human Transmutation that actually works! Ed should start taking notes~ (Also, immediately jumping to Overhaul succeeding and the raid being for nothing? I think Marineford has permanently scarred your soul regarding plots like this XD) Here's my take on Nighteye: right after he gets stabbed, he's going "Let me see it, let me see Eri get saved". Considering this happened right after the flashback where he told Gran Torino that he was afraid that he was *causing* things to happen because nothing he tried ever seemed to stop the future he saw from taking place; the way I see it? He was trying to use that fact to force a happy future for the kids. After all; if he sees something bad happen to someone and nothing can stop it happening, then surely if he sees something *good* happen to someone, it must also be guaranteed to happen, right? So instead of focusing on Overhaul, he switched to using Foresight on Mirio, on Deku, on Eri; all to try and see a future where they get out of this battle safely, but it's just not happening. And because he's so desperately focused on using Foresight to make sure he sees the people he cares about make it out alive; he's not even trying to use it on the battle he's actually in, which makes it incredibly easy for Overhaul to get him.

to be fair: I so rarely hear people using the word "Vermillion", that I was actually kind of impressed, even if it was wrong lol

LeonLion

Thats why overhaul is my favorite villain of this show. Hes got power, ambition, a good plan and motivation. Not like shigaraki aka mr. i just wanna destroy the world for fun but i don’t know how. Next episode is PEEEEEAAAAAKKKKKK!

Maks Lesniewski

To be fair, what context would you use "vermillion", when you can just say "light red"?

Ivan Perez

Sometimes we need some frieze ass villains who just wants destruction

Mike G. M.

Counter argument: why would you ever want to use "light red" when you could use "vermillion" instead?~

Maks Lesniewski

Because regular people don't know what vermillion means. I'm fairly smart, I'd say, and even I had to google what vermillion looked like, because all I knew was that it was a shade of red.
