Some fans were bothered by the fact that Deku possesses multiple Quirks. Personally, I think it's justified by the fact that he has to surpass All Might AND defeat All For One's power, which is supposed to be passed on to Shigaraki (according to All For One's words during his fight against All Might). The important thing is to show that Deku is working hard to be up to the task. Especially since he just obtained his Quirk, unlike everyone else who have been able to learn and master theirs since the age of three. Besides, his mission is completely different from everyone else's. He's not just there to be the best. We're reaching a point where training at school is becoming too limited. He has to become the savior. Litterally

From this point on, the rivalry with Bakugo becomes meaningless. Because, obviously, Deku has far greater potential than him. But I think that's the point. Deku was born without a Quirk and was "despised" by his role model friend, Bakugo, who saw him as a loser with the heart of a hero. Now, Deku is the one Bakugo has to push to become the greatest. Since learning the story of One For All, when he says he wants to be better than Deku, I think he's not serious. It's more like the basketball-playing older brother trying to push his talented younger brother to improve by pricking his ego and giving him a 15-0 thrashing.

Yea, i think Bakugo is smart enough to realize Deku's role and that he was chosen. In the beginnig Bakugo was pissed, but now its almost as if he's pushing him to be better and better cuz he understands the importance of his role.

I just remembered you should be good to watch the next mha movie about now. Someone pls correct me if I’m wrong but I think movie 2 came out before this season but is best watched somewhere during this season or after? And the third movie is also watchable after s5 I think. They’re pretty good and technically canon to the anime. Thought I’d mention it since you did watch the first movie a while ago so might as well keep going.

So... this ends up explaining some fan-stuff that I've seen involving Deku XD Hmmm... it's a stretch: but I'll still send over the virtual cookie for this one; you did call the Shinsos brainwashing would be a involved in him unlocking powers. Though regarding the Copy guy; I'm pretty Dekus staying at range because he doesn't want to risk that kid suddenly copying One for All. I remember him saying in the last ep that he might not be able to, but I think Deku (understandably) doesn't want to take that risk.

Since you personally called me out, let me repeat myself: Ahem...HE'D FUCKING BLOW UP IF HE DIDN'T TRAIN FOR OFA. If he's cheating, then Naruto was cheating as well, and that doesn't even touch upon my initial argument that was saying you can't call Deku a cheater, without saying the same thing about Shoto and Bakugo. Also, this episode actually further proves my point, because what's gonna happen if he doesn't train all of the other 6 quirks? He's going to kill himself and everyone around him some day.
